Spent over $3000 for a couch. First couch arrived and was documented during delivery of stains and rips. The owners of Myers sent the delivery crew back out to steam clean the furniture. Not sure what their intentions were, but steam does not fix rips. We sent photos of more rips and was determined by the manufacturer as a defect. Took a few weeks which is understandable to get an replacement, but a replacement couch was sent. Here we are again with a new couch with the same rips. Now we are being told that the rips were caused by our dog. 1st off my dogs are perimeter guard dogs and never enter the house. Again, same rips as the original couch and now they want to blame on dogs!!! This company was recommended as a local business that stand behind their product which we found out first hand is NOT true. DO NOT BUY FROM MYERS GOODS HOME & DECOR. I gave them an opportunity to keep their name untarnished, but just dismissing clear manufacture defects and blaming animals is not ok. Do they want to blame my bearded dragon and turtles too?!?! What we found at all those stores was the same big bulky furniture with very little style. At Myers we found a huge range of unique design living room sets. Styles we hadn't seen anywhere else, which we loved! The pricing was great and the service equally great. You aren't paying for chain store BS and overhead here, just quality furniture at great prices. We bought the perfect sofa for us, and also ordered a coffee table. With it being Saturday they weren't aware the table we ordered was discontinued, but they conveyed that to me promptly on Monday and refunded the money while i decide on another direction. The store is definitely more geared towards living room furniture, but they have an array of catalogs they can order from for dining rooms...

We were all relaxing and enjoying family movie time and the L shape part of the couch snapped. At this time, it was after 2 months that we have had it in our home. We called the store, was told manager would call us back. The manager never called us. We finally called the store back and the representative told us we were supposed to buy warranty when we purchased the couch. We chose to not buy warranty because we didn’t expect the furniture to break in 2 months. This is a $1,799 couch and we expected it to last longer than a mere 2 months before it broke.
