Lidl shopper here but unfortunately don’t prefer this one. This seems to be a smaller market with less stock. Was in a different part of town so went for a shop and couldn’t find many items that our typical Lidl regularly has like ginger and fresh herbs. This new concept also looks much more like Aldi and other discount stores, cheapening the brand in my opinion. It seems to be more reminiscent of the smaller city-based stores in Europe meaning it’s also more cramped and you have to bag your groceries extremely quickly before you get pushed out by the next customers at the checkout. The layout was different than other stores so my in-order shopping list was useless. I’ll stick to the original curved roof style stores. Makes me happy when I shop there with the big open windows, well designed marketing and strong focus on the beautiful european products. Design aside, I do hope that Lidl continues to open stores within city limits. All Charlotte stores are in other towns outside of the city.

If you've never been to Lidls before, you are missing out on just about everything grocery related, wine related, beautifully fresh cut flowers and flowers for your yard and planters as well as household goods and outdoor accessories, all at extremely discounted prices. The parking lot is absolutely immense. Everything is handicap accessible and the aisles are widely spaced and buffed to a reflective shine. There are plastic dividers and everything was sanitized in between every customer. The staff members that I interacted with were all professional and polite. And the store was very well maintained. Deeply discounted, high quality fresh goods.Treat yourself, give your wallet and purse a break. If you took the time to read this review, please take a 1/2 second and click like. Thank you.

Nothing against the collection of this Lidl store in Charlotte and what they stock, but they need to train their staff in customer training. The African-American lady who was at the entrance stared at me like anything when I was going out of the store. Prior to that, near the self-checkout counters, the African-American manager stared at me as well. I’ve no idea how in this day and age, this is acceptable. Do better, Lidl. I won’t be back here.

Grand opening was horrible. Many people didn't get gift cards because they limited to 100 people. I think everyone should of got something for attending the grand opening. The first ever lidl to open in Charlotte on December 4th 2019. It's a small location compare to the other lidl stores I've been to. It is a much quite store vs ALDI. The store is ok but had to shop with all the small space, they have self checkout, and recently they just hired a security guard. The employees aren't as great at giving customer service. The store manager was Derek, a short man with orange hair, Josh, and now Scott. One of their manager acts like a man but its a girl, she has a full facial hair. Skylar doesn't need to work for lidl he's not friendly talks behind peoples back. Paul doesn't look friendly. I'm disappointed with lidl now they use to have lots of items on sale but not no more. Everything is expensive. No more too good to waste, weekend specials, 10+ pages of the weekly ad. I use this lidl a lot because its on the bus line and the one on Maragret wallace has limited bus service and would have to walk back to WT Harris for 1.5 miles, for sales, and the self checkout since the lidl on Mallard creek, steele creek, and caramel commons...

this lidl use to be great but not no more. I go to this lidl because its right by the CATS bus stop and the one in Matthews have CATS limited service. This Lidl also have a self checkout and the newer Lidl stores don't have self checkout just (Monroe rd, matthews, and concord). However the employees don't like me coming in there with a backpack and reusable bags. I have to bring them everywhere I go because I don't own a car. This store is a one way in and out. I just feel like I don't have any privacy to shop. I've always shop at this lidl never had any issues till today but I wasn't stopped. The security guard is the same one from the ALDI on Connection Point. not sure why this lidl hires security. one thing for sure is that I'm a loyal customer and have no intentions of taking products and putting them in my backpack without paying. Now I'm going to another Lidl and...
