Plumped — Attraction in Charlotte

I want to disclaimer this review with the fact that I had a terribly uncomfortable experience with a different provider at a different practice who was a board certified plastic surgeon and me stumbling on plumped was the best thing to happen to me in my search for Botox and Fillers. Plumped has 5 stars for a reason!

NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS TO SAY ABOUT PLUMPED.

Story time: a 28 year old stressed and tired sales professional (it pertains, imagine the wrinkles and bags under my eyes) sought out Dysport from a board certified plastic surgeon in SouthPark. My entire visit I felt like I didn't belong and left with a quote for a ridiculously high amount for DYSPORT not even Botox, plus a quote for Fillers (which i found out today his reviews of the fillers are poor and many patients had to get them reversed and the doctor became rude and angry and refused to refund due to his mistakes....any ways, the quote was for TWICE what I paid Plumped. I nervously and awkwardly messaged Plumped after finding them on Instagram and they requested a video. Cue my odd facial expressions and my daughter saying "mom why are you doing that, don't!" or something close to that effect, I can't remember particulars. Anyways, Christina and Kristen were so incredible. They didn't make me feel out of place or like I didn't belong despite my nervous chatter and feeling like I was saying the wrong things (my impression of myself, they were so gracious). Christina is whom I sent the videos to and gave me an accurate quote for pricing and stated what they felt I could benefit from based off of what I was wanting to achieve. The office is adorable, I am now a big fan of Salon Lofts because its so cozy, quaint and cute. I found Plumped via Instagram and I am so happy I did. Not only did Kristin do a bomb a$$ job, she KILLED it! I see a few wrinkles i may need to address in a few weeks, but i don't believe my fillers and botox are done settling yet and even if they are, ill go back in a heart beat, TAKE MY MONEY damnit (hahaha).

She has truly mastered her craft, no doubt about it. The numbing injections hardly hurt, the fillers felt odd but no actual pain, and I don't even think I felt the botox themselves. She was thorough, she provided me with information before, during and after the session, and explained the process and length of time it would take for the botox and fillers to fully set it. It's been a week and so far so good with results. I am actually looking into other services they offer for my skin and the many different problems I have with it. I don't spend this kind of money lightly and I literally didn't think twice after arriving at Plumped and experiencing their kindness, generosity, knowledge, experience, heck just all of it. I am so impressed with my results and I still have another week to see what the final look is. It was an honor to experience the master of aesthetics that is Kristin and I cannot wait to see what we can do next to reach my goals! Thank you guys so much! I first visited Kristen at Plumped about a year ago for a consult on facial correction or whatever the technical term is! 😄 I specifically chose Kristen because she’s the owner and has worked on a few of my friends, and I wanted the best of the best for my first-ever treatment. I ended up putting things on hold at the time, but a year later, I circled back.

Kristen recommended I see one of her new estheticians, which honestly made me nervous.. I had told myself I would only go to her. But she completely put me at ease and let me know that Heather, a master trainer with 18 years of experience (and also one of her good friends), would be present to oversee the appointment. That gave me peace of mind.

Morgan and Heather were both incredible. They made me feel so comfortable, answered all my questions, and even offered thoughtful advice I didn’t expect but truly appreciated. They were professional, honest, and never made me feel pressured.

After our conversation, I decided to go ahead with cheek filler (despite being warned by others not to!) and lip filler as well. I’m only 4 days in, but I’m already blown away by the results. Morgan is clearly very talented the results are so natural. No real swelling in my lips, no bruising at all, and I feel like myself… just elevated.

Additionally, they kept in contact with me over social media to check in and make sure everything was going well even with their busy schedules. That kind of follow-up showed me how much they genuinely care about their patients, and I thought that was really cool.

Kristen clearly has an eye for talent because she’s built an incredible team. If you’ve been on the fence about getting anything done, run don’t walk to Plumped. These girls know exactly what they’re doing, and they do it with care, skill and diligence. Thanks...

I recently came to Plumped to receive a VI Chemical peel. Upon arriving, no one greeted me. Though one worker was checking out a customer, there were several ladies at the desk that weren’t occupied with customers. This initially did not give me a good first impression. I felt someone could have acknowledged me saying “Hi Welcome to Plumped, we’ll be with you shortly”, or something along the lines of that. After the customer left a girl did ask my name and stated that she got me checked in, but that was it as far as the first interaction goes.

I received an original VI peel by Maliyah. She was very nice, and thorough throughout the procedure. I’m no stranger to VI and medical grade products. I used to work for a dermatologist office that offered Derm and cosmetic procedures. I will say I noticed that before applying the peel generally there’s Auqaphor applied to sensitive areas such as corners of the lip, nose etc. to create a barrier for possible irritation. This step was not done (I didn’t fret, she did say if sensitivity occurred to apply aquaphor). Also, in the past I was trained by a VI rep to do 3-4 passes on the skin waiting about 40-60 seconds in between applying the next layer (I received two). I have sensitive acne prone skin, so doing that many passes can be a little too abrasive for my skin which is why I didn’t say anything. It has been a while since I’ve worked in a Derm office, so VI reps could be teaching different due to the product being more concentrated (I’m not sure, but I will give the benefit of the doubt).

Overall, the checkout process was efficient. The office was clean and smelt really good. They offer an array of beauty treatments. I booked a return service, I’m looking forward...
