Hello everyone, i am aware that this a long shot but my dog was attacked by another dog at this park yesterday. we rushed him to the ER and he ended up having surgery and received 14 stitches. the owner gave us her number and agreed to help us pay for anything that she could. we did not call the police because we were in a panic and saw our dog bleeding. we were on our way out and put our dog onna leash because we were leaving. Her dog came up and sniffed our dog and then began to attack him completely unprovoked. He bit him on the neck, the paw, and he had my dogs arm completely in his mouth and we had the pry his teeth out of my dogs arm. the other owner blamed us and said that it happened because we had our dog on a leash leaving but the Doctor at the vet said that my dog being on a leash probably saved his life. i do plan to report this but we need more information. if you were there yesterday or know a caucasian woman with a dog named Sunday please let me know! thank...
Read moreFrazier dog park is great! It's a pretty big space for dogs to stretch their legs and there have always been other dogs there to play with, even at 8am. I keep a close eye on mine since he's pretty new to me, and I would advise others to do the same, as there are a lot of different dynamics going on. Some just sit on the bench while their dog roams, but I didn't see any inappropriate behaviors from those particular dogs (guess they know them well). Always balls around for fetch (mine just runs with the dogs that are fetching 😩) and a hose and water bowls. There are several benches throughout that are covered by trees for shade. Downside: PARKING IS TERRIBLE, GO EARLY lol. The gate between big and small dog sides is isn't on straight, leaving a decent sized gap. Someone opened the gate to let my dog play with their small dog, now he thinks the gap is a free...
Read moreThe dog park is a nice size, however, it doesn't appear to be well kept, as there was quite a bit of trash along the perimeter inside the dog run, as well as two large weaknesses in the fencing where my dog was nearly able to escape. She is a hound dog, so in all fairness, that is the first thing she looks for, but she is a large dog and if she could fit through these holes, many others could as well. One of the gaps was at the back of the large dog park, where the fence doesn't close all of the way, and the other was on the right center of the large dog area where water run off from a near by outlet has worn down the dirt underneath of the fencing, she was halfway through the hole when I pulled her out. If these large gaps were taken care of, I would have definitely rated the park higher. Just wanted to let others know, in case they have an escape...
