Clutch Kitchen & Pour House — Restaurant in Charlotte

Absolutely the WORST experience ever , that I have had in Charlotte , 2 friends & myself stood at the bar for atleast 20 mins , after first server we encountered said she would clean the table so we could sit at it , while everyone kept walking past us didn’t even offer to assist us , then when they did ask what we were waiting on we told them we already spoke to another young lady who was supposed to clean the table off so we could sit there , we waited another 15 mins then asked for the manager because at this point we had already talked to 2 different servers & instead of them assisting us they sat in the bar area talking and playing with their hair over the people’s drinks , when the manager did come out he was super useless , & rude , he came out & told the servers to clean the table & they waited another additional 15 mins to even clean the table so at this point we have been here about half an hour & still no service , once we sit down one of the servers with dark hair came and slid 2 menus on the table even though it was 3 of us , so we could tell nobody really wanted to assist but we had just paid 30$ for parking not even an hour before so we tried to stay but the last straw was us asking for an additional menu & right after the server goes to the manager in our face & lied & said we cursed at her , so he comes over repeating it & we are all confused like sir no one cursed at her we just asked for a menu , & he said oh well she said yall did so I’ll just serve yall , in the nastiest tone possible so we could tell he was already upset & we didn’t wanna risk anything going “ wrong “ with our food so I politely said we are sorry for wasting their time we didn’t want any trouble we would just leave & requested our 30$ parking fee back , at that moment he rushed us all outside to the guy who we paid for parking & told him “ they aren’t coming in can you give them a refund “ whole time we were already in the establishment , I would NEVER come back again , as a social media influencer and we are all veterans that had to be the worse experience ever , I’m not sure if it was a race thing but I would like to add , they just didn’t seem to African American friendly , they were rude from the moment we walked in .. Will not be suggesting this place to anyone !!!! It won’t let me post the video of the Manager walking us out abruptly , or the young ladies just standing around talked but here are the screenshots of the videos . Visited Wednesday 8/10/22 at around 12:45pm for lunch and cocktails. Me and my friend walk in and stand to wait to be seated. Then after about two mins of standing, the bar tender shouts to us that we can take a seat anywhere. We would have done this in the first place had there been a sign telling customers to do so. Pictured are the mozzarella sticks, fried chicken sandwich with onion rings, and buffalo chicken wrap with waffle fries. Food took a little long to come out. Mozzarella sticks 8/10, they were hot and fresh. The breading could use some seasoning. I like how they garnish it with Parmesan cheese. Chicken sandwich 6/10, I’ve had better. And the onions rings were not the best. Barely any breading on them. The waffle fries were great! I did not try the wrap, my friend ordered that. The alcohol was great! The atmosphere is your usual sports bar. Plenty of TVs. The bartender was friendly and attentive! The restaurant is average sized and they also have outdoor seating. The parking isn’t the best. Small parking lot on one side of the shopping center. The other side says it’s permit parking only, tow away zone. There is a pay for parking lot across the street. It’s worth checking out but I personally wouldn’t come here again;...

My family and I went there for the first time today. Waited a few before anyone came to greet us or said anything. Place wasn’t busy or packed. The service wasn’t too great. Our server didn’t explain anything. I asked what kinds of drinks there were and was just told “it’s on the other side” Just felt like maybe We shouldnt be here. Felt rushed to order even though they were not busy. Had to ask for a refill and also for any condiments. Server didn’t ask if we wanted to order any appetizers or anything. When my daughter put in an appetizer order the server never asked anyone else just immediately walked away. Had to catch her to put in the rest of the appetizers. She had a straight face of, “did you want to order a drink” and “did you want to order now” Nothing was offered or explained unless we asked but it was just very short. We were also charged a party tax and have no idea what that was for though there were 3 different orders. Was suppose to be family friendly but didn’t feel that way. We were seated at the bar table. Asked for a high chair which wasn’t offered and never got it. We had to go and get it ourselves. The food and appetizers were great but the service and vibe really takes...
