Was my family's number one thing on our list to see on Cape Cod this past week! I checked the hours and info before our trip. I guess hours changed in October?? We went by and it was closed, so totally disappointed! When we rechecked hours online, from parking lot, we saw they are only open Saturdays and Sundays now. Hours had changed since we planned our trip. So, just a caveat to make sure they WILL be open at the time of your trip....as they must change hours in Sept or October?? It would be helpful to note somewhere on your website or your Google and trip advisor sites that your hours change seasonally. (Maybe you do and I did not see it?) So when people plan a trip around your awesome center, they don't plan it based on summer hours listed. Just a thought. We had to head back to landlocked Colorado Friday, so we missed you. Hopefully, we will catch you open on a future visit to the Cape someday! Just VERY disappointed to have not made it inside. We even budgeted for some shark swag! Lol . I have your app and follow you online. Thank you for the important work you do in protecting our White Sharks ( I am a Buzzards Bay native, originally)....

This place is wonderful. Truly incredible. It provides the history, evolution, and biology of the white shark (aka the great white) as well as other New England species, it shows how you can track sharks that have been tagged, it has detailed information about how they tag sharks and the different types of tags, and there are stories about local sharks including Curly, Chex, and Bruno. There's even a model of Bruce, the puppet used in JAWS, a real shark cage photo op, and a summer fossil pit that kids can dig in for shark teeth. This conservancy is committed to shark research, public education, public safety, and conservation. Without it, we wouldn't know nearly as much about the North Atlantic White Shark population as we do and there's still so much more to learn. Their commitment to finding ways for humans and sharks to peacefully and safely coexist is admirable and I, for one, very much appreciate that. I appreciate everything they...

Absolutely enjoyed visiting AWSC in Chatham on a rainy day. Definitely go online and book tickets ahead of time since they will be sold out! My 7 year old son, as well as my husband and myself, took full advantage of reading the exhibits and learning about the research that they conduct. The staff members we spoke with were very knowledgeable and eager to share information. My son had lots of questions and they answered them all and used visuals when they could. Learning how they tagged the sharks and then how they found the tags in the water afterwards was very interesting. My son was eager to purchase a hat and other items from the small gift shop in order to have the proceeds go to the conservatory. Highly recommend this...

We always have to have some (a lot) of #educational activities! We only had about 45 minutes but that was plenty of time. All of us enjoyed playing with the kinetic sand in the interactive exhibit, and the guys were very scared in the shark cage. 😂 #atlanticwhitesharkconservancy #provincetown #massachusetts #pearsontravel #newengland2024 #travel #50states #50stateschallenge #tiktoktravel #follow #fyp #family #travellife #itsatrip #adventuresawait #fromthewindowtothewoods
