The owner is an expert in costal ecosystems in Cape Cod, and also has a keen eye for excellent maps. We bought a couple of late 1800's maps of the Maghreb last year, and while we didn't purchase them, there were some excellent specimens from the Persian Gulf dating back to the early 19th century on our last visit. If you know maps, you'll know that these are indeed rare finds.

Read moreI was like a kid in a toy shop!!! This place brought out the sense of adventure in me. The maps that I found were the treasures and I was a pirate seeking out the treasure. Thanks to the folks at Maps of Antiquity, I was able to find a beautiful map of the Philippines. These guys really know what they are doing and have many resources to draw from. Who would've known that we would find a map of the Philippines in a US Commerce Atlas. Well, apparently these folks did. I am now a proud owner of a few maps of antiquity.
