Ocean State Job Lot — Local services in Chatham

Hate to leave this, but awful experience. Purchased a Crazy Deal item online yesterday morning, and was emailed my Crazy Deal barcode to redeem. This afternoon, 34 hours after receiving the email, went shopping in-store. When my barcode was scanned it said the Crazy Deal wouldn't activate until tomorrow. The Deal was for $200, so I had just spent an hour shopping. No one in store could override it, and the final Manager they called said "well, you may have bought it yesterday, but it didn't hit our system until today". So basically, I'm SOL. So ended up having to leave a full cart as I wasn't going to pay out of pocket - that's the whole point of buying things on a Crazy Deal! The email said nothing about a 48 hour lag time, and the could-give-a-crap-less attitude was terrible customer service. Just...

This place has completely gone downhill! That used to be a go to stop for me anytime I needed some general household. The last dozen times I've been in there they have had absolutely nothing that I needed, the store is disgustingly dirty and understocked. There are things all over the floor and completely disheveled. The employees that are there walk around looking completely overwhelmed. Everybody that I talk to I tell them don't waste their time even going there anymore, which is a huge bummer because we live right around the corner and have been going there for...

This is probably my favorite Job Lot on Cape Cod. It certainly feels like the cleanest and best kept of all of their stores! I buy all sorts of things here, quality is decent for the price. I love their food section because you can find brands that also sell at pricey natural food stores, but the prices here are much lower! Like Bob's Red Mill products. I also like their chocolate selection. The staff is generally friendly...
