This place has amazing amenities and views for the prices. The rooms are a little outdated but my husband and I didn't mind. The bed was SUPER comfy! The sheets are soft and you just sink into the pillows. You can hear the cicadas outside. We felt super relaxed - we would grab some of the prepackaged breakfast in the morning and eat it on our porch and enjoy the view. The grounds had beautiful landscaping as well! I loved all of the greenery and flowers! My husband worked with the staff in secret to surprise me with flowers and chocolates! It was our wedding anniversary and I really feel like they went above and beyond for us. They asked my husband what kind of flowers I liked and put together a bouquet with sunflowers and lots of purple. They made us a little heart and swans with towels too! They also wrote out a little card on behalf of my husband too. (Everything is in my pictures attached to this review) The fire pit was super cute and comfy too. It was too hot to sit at it when we went but it made me want to come back when it's cooler out to sit at it and enjoy the views with a sweater. This hotel is also pet friendly too which is nice. You have to walk your dogs across from the hotel. Some guests were not following this rule. Thankfully for most of our stay we didn't have anyone in the room next to us - but be warned you share your balcony with the room next to yours. I would definitely recommend to the hotel to put up a separation or barrier - the balconies are very spacious. Especially with COVID being a thing I would not feel safe sharing the balcony and would not be happy if I couldn't use it when I wanted to. (Just wanted to warn people if they don't like shared spaces like that!)

We stayed here to check out some of the local attractions. We are a family if 4(kids ages 7 and 10) and we got the last available room(#6) which had a king sized bed. We asked for a roll away bed($10 a night extra) and that worked for the 4 of us. The extra bed makes it a bit cramped, but we only slept in the room anyway. The room had a balcony which had a beautifull view! We did not use the pool but it's a saltwater pool. They also light the fire pit from 6pm til 9pm and you can buy smores kits. The room was a little bright during the night and AC not as quiet as i would have liked. The breakfast was great with alot made in house. The menu online wasn't accurate, but it was tasty although a bit salty)Biscuits with sausage, burritos, muffins/pastries, hasbrown cups, oatmeal packets, cereal cups, fruit cups and breads. Juices, coffee, milks, yoghurt too. Location is great, close to rock city, ruby falls etc. Overall I would stay again!

Fantastic location on the side of the mountain with views of the Tennessee River from your balcony. A wonderful place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee. Out front there is a fire pit for the chilly evenings where you can sit and chat about your day and with other guests. Breakfast room is nicely done, with a balcony off the back with breakfast tables where you can enjoy the sunrise. Breakfast consists of: breakfast sandwiches, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, muffins & bagels. The breakfast sandwiches are exceptionally good on ciabatta rolls, and are convenient for those who are on the go to their sightseeing Adventures. Linens are fresh and clean. Service dogs are welcome, but not a good place for those in wheel chairs. The staff (Amy) was super friendly and helpful. Can't say enough good things about our stay here. I would love to try the pool when it's open. I will certainly be back when I'm in the area.

We spent time at this charming ten room Inn to see some fall colors in a covid-safe way (each room has an individual heat/air unit like an old-school roadside motel, which it once was). We loved it so much that we came back to spend Christmas Eve. The place is charming and clean, the beds are comfortable, and the views from all the balconies are nothing short of spectacular. The Inn is tucked away up on a private little lane adjacent to a long nature trail that winds around the brow of Lookout Mountain. The staff are very friendly, and the tiny gift shop has a well curated selection of goodies. Breakfast is your typical yogurt, cereal, pastry, chain hotel type fare, and some home-made local bakery items or a BnB type breakfast casserole are the only things that could have possibly made our two stays more enjoyable.

First, stay here. For a late Anniversary getaway. The rooms are nice, clean, quiet & comfy. Beautiful view. Cute view at night. The front desk isn't always open. You have to call. Which I thought was odd. The pool wasn't in use bc the heater couldn't keep up w/ the Oct chill. Fire pit starts at 8 pm. It's not a long drive to downtown Chattanooga. After the first nights sleep. Realized that the walls & ceilings are paper thin. Hears the people upstairs walking around all night. & why is it that every hotel...They make it hard to sleep. It was so bright in our room at night. & of course when day light hit. I'd recommend this place for what we came for. But for something else. I'd go else where.
