Lakeside Surf — Attraction in Chelan

AMAZING- Recommend good swimmers and some people out for a-lot of smiles and a great time! Today I went just to have a day at slide waters and due to a car accident I was in last year I was not able to check out the new surf area. I figured if I could rope my fiancé into doing it I’d give it a try. We had to sign up and get our names registered and we were in “class” within the next 10 minutes. The instructor that taught us had a lot of great knowledge I had NO idea what he was talking about at the time but later did when in the water. The same instructor that explained it helped me to stand on the board and find my balance helping me learn and giving great pointers. Some instructors get annoying and can me “telling” instead of helping but man I picked up on it so fast due to his teaching skills. I have no idea what his name was but I can narrow it down by saying his sister took the learning class and first surf with me and their dad. So hopefully the staff can recognize him for me and tell him he is wonderful! I hope to see him again. It’s a great experience and you can get a lot out of it by visiting with the staff and other surfers everyone is laid back and wants to have a fun time. Once again very helpful and great staff one even came out I hadn’t met and held my hand And let me catch a feel of the board and ride a wave he taught me a lot as well. I haven't had the chance to experience Lakeside Surf yet, live, in person, but I already know it's going to be amazing based on their incredible customer service. I originally booked tickets for my son's birthday in September, but an important freshman orientation came up, forcing me to reschedule multiple times. (Wah-Wah) Normally, I live and die by my calendar, but between teen schedules and Lake Chelan lodging, it was a challenge. Mostly the teens.... : )

The staff has been nothing short of exceptional! They’ve been incredibly patient, accommodating, and communicative throughout the entire rebooking process. I truly appreciate their willingness to help, even with my annoying inconsistencies.

I can't wait to finally make it out there and use my son's passes once they open again. If their service is any indication of the full experience, I know it's going to be worth the wait! Highly recommend them for their top-notch...

My family loves Lakeside Surf! Family friendly, great staff, beautiful place to spend a day, and surfing is such a unique experience! As a surprise for my friend's bachelorette weekend, we rented out the surf park for a private movie night! Jared at Lakeside went above and beyond in helping me plan from out of town, answering my (many) questions, setting up for our party, and hosting us! The bride was thrilled, and we had such a fun time. It's a really cool venue with a beautiful view of the lake and the sunset - highly recommend! They had outdoor couches available for us to use, but if we would have done it in warmer weather, it would've been so fun to watch the movie from floaties in the pool!
