Complete Game PT is great - I've been to many PTs in my life, and only two of those were what I would rate as truly excellent:
The first was Backstage PT, which was in Allston circa 2010 - I am a dancer, and Backstage specialized in PT for dancers, and was owned by ex-Olympic Figure Skater, Peter Breen, before he closed the practice when he moved to Michigan. Peter helped me through some serious big toe injuries which at the time had sidelined my dancing career (I was told by one podiatrist at the time that I'd never be able to dance at that level again). Peter is the reason I took up Figure Skating as a form of rehab in the meanwhile, and Peter and Backstage PT were a big part of why I was eventually able to return to dancing.
Unfortunately, for many years after Peter moved, I failed to find another excellent PT of that caliber.
Which brings me to Complete Game PT!
Complete Game has been similarly amazing, and I have nothing but great things to say about Complete Game (as a whole, and about each person individually)!
My PT, Mike, has really been excellent; he is a genuinely kind person who truly cares about his patients, and he has helped me work through a very complex and rather unusual set of accumulated injuries and imbalances.
My partner has had a similarly great experience with Lauren, who has helped her with some long standing but previously misunderstood hip issues, which have recently enabled her to be able to do a deep squat without pain for the first time in her life.
Great, caring, competent PTs are harder to find than they should be, and in my diverse experience, Complete Game is truly...
Read moreI did eight weeks of therapy at Complete Game PT for age related back and neck issues that were interfering with my ability to workout (boxing, HIIT, swimming, biking) and perform a number of other physically demanding activities such as yard work and gardening. I chose this facility for a number of reasons. All of the therapists are PhD level Physical Therapists and not PTAs. The facility was clean and well organized with convenient parking. My initial inquiries were addressed in a pleasant and professional manner.
The onboarding process was easy and scheduling was equally painless. There were no issues with billing through Medicare and my supplemental plan. In short, the administrative staff was friendly and efficient.
My therapist was Dr. Michael Scholz. He performed his initial assessment and proved to be an excellent listener. I was very happy that he did not seem to make any assumptions about my goals and capabilities bases on my age. This is not always the case with medical providers. Mike is very knowledgeable and his treatment plan reflected this. Over the eight week period my range of motion improved dramatically and my pain became much more manageable. Mike has a relaxed yet focuses approach that made the sessions enjoyable as well as beneficial.
I have had physical therapy a number of times over the years for various injuries. The results have been mixed at best. That was not the case this time. As I write this review, I am virtually pain free and my range of motion is better than it has been in years. You cannot argue with results. I highly recommend Complete Game...
Read moreWhen my 16 year old daughter, a competitive 3 season varsity athlete , tore her ACL and meniscus 3 years ago playing basketball, I knew she would have a long recovery and we needed to find a competent and motivating PT to help her get back to sports. We were so happy that Greg had recently opened his practice in Lowell and really liked that he had access to indoor turf and courts as part of the GameTime facility. Greg , and later Andy L. were the perfect match for Nicole- they were very friendly, but also pushed her with a variety of increasingly more challenging exercises. Happily, with their expertise, she fully returned to compete in soccer and track and now plays Club Ultimate Frisbee in college. During her recovery, her twin brother also saw Andy L. For knee and ankle sports injuries and we were very pleased again. And, Since then, both my parents have seen Greg and Andy for back and shoulder problems and have only positive feedback for the entire staff, including Bonnie and Jill , the very friendly receptionists/ office managers. And , very recently, I saw Andy and his intern ,Molly, for a knee injury. They reassured me with a thorough evaluation and home exercises that I would be able to return to my normal activities. I confidently refer all my friends and family to Complete Game for any PT needs. With three generations going here, my family can wholeheartedly recommend Complete Game PT for any age and any PT injury or problem. Give them a call, you...
