I placed an order online via SLICE. I have used slice for several other restaurants before without any issues. I ordered a chicken Cesar salad around 11am, with a 45 min delivery time I assumed it would be here in time for 12. At 11:50 am I had not received a confirmation email (like it said i would when checking out) so I called to check to ensure they received it, and was then told it was going to be another 20 - 25 minuets, which was actually another 70 minuets. HOW IN GOD's NAME DOES A SINGLE CHICKEN CESAR SALAD TAKE OVER 2 HOURS TO PREPARE AND DELIVER? I understand lunch rush... but I called well in advance. By the time the salad got here my lunch break was over. Very disappointing experience, horrible communication from the restaurant, and all around unacceptable. I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN AND I HAVE MADE IT A POINT TO LET MY FELLOW COWORKERS KNOW THE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I HAD HERE, and we are a large office that recently moved to Chelmsford and orders out a lot, could have had a lot of new business. Maybe in the future, let the SLICE orders know if the delivery is longer than what the site says AND at the very least convey this to the customer when they call to check and ask and be honest about the time, don't just say 20 minutes to get them...
Read moreI'm not ever a cheap person but they just have terrible customer service. I was told the price over the phone and I was okay with it because of the price increased everywhere. But I ordered a como meal which is on their menu (shown in photo). Was charged separately for a $7.00 side of fries. Called them and said I wanted a combo and they tell me they don't do them anymore instead of telling me on the phone. Whom ever I spoke with said "what would you like me to do." I said maybe give me good customer service. I was expecting just maybe a credit for my next order but he thought I wanted my money back so I said okay. And he says "well then I want my fries back" hahahahaha little does he know I took half those fries out of the box....
