Village Consignment — Attraction in Chelmsford

My folks are downsizing and have a number of quality wares I would at least like to try and get something for befote we donate the rest. I called the shop on a Saturday morning 2 weeks ago, explained the situation as such, and they said they were interested but busy, and to call back. I did, no answer. Ok I get it. So I packed a few things up today, to bring, have them look at, see where we stand as far as interest or saleability for them. I go in, there are some people shopping, so I peruse around a bit until it slows down. There are 3 women working, mind you. I explain, same as on the phone, and the head person, I guess, proceeds to barrage me as to how busy they are, shows me a pile of things people have already brought that day etc. Says wait here, right next to the register...ok. 15 minutes elapse with what I can assume is a record number of side eye looks, no help, no interaction...nothing. I left before I lost my temper. The second hand goods market is flourishing, and these folks must have a deluge of cheap or free product rolling in, they certainly do not seem to be interested in aquisition from non relations. I love this place!! This consignment store has a little bit of everything including furniture, jewelry, antiques, purses, homemade items, and household decor. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality of the items in the store. Actually I should say stores because there are three buildings located on the property, all filled with different items. I’ve been there three times since the opening in February and there is always something new. And I can’t forget to mention the owners. They are absolutely wonderful. This is antique store is such a gem! It's set up like an antique mall stretching three buildings, ranging from local finds to global imports and quite frankly the best prices I've seen. If you're in the mood to rummage through the contents of an old garage, or peruse ornate period trinkets, hands down a trip worth making. Plus everyone who works there is nice and friendly.
