Valley Orchard - A Hidden Gem in Cherry Valley!

I recently visited Valley Orchard in Cherry Valley, and I can't express how impressed I was with this hidden gem. From the moment I stepped onto the property, I was greeted by the charming atmosphere of a family-owned orchard.

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the homemade donuts. They were warm, soft, and incredibly delicious - a true fall treat. The cider was equally delightful, and they had a fantastic variety of apples to choose from.

What struck me the most was the care that goes into maintaining this orchard. It's evident that the owners take great pride in their orchard, as everything was beautifully kept and organized. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making my experience all the more enjoyable.

My son went there on a field trip. The wagon they rode around on had no sides on it. All the kids had their legs hanging off, which granted should have never been allowed. My son unfortunately was sitting next to the uncovered tire which grabbed his ankle and pulled him off. Had to take him to the doctor several times. Called this orchard and they played down injury like it.was minor. He has a very nasty scar on his ankle with thin skin in that area. To this day his ankle still bothers him. Won't ever go there and I warn everyone that I know...

This is a cute little farm. Went to pick some apples on columbus day. The staff is super friendly and if you have never been there they help you so you know what you're doing. Best advice would be to go when the season for whatever you're trying to get starts because if you go mid season or late in the season you wont find a lot. Majority of the trees with the good apples were bare but its to be expected. Would definitely recommend this place to someone looking for a nice little farm to pick some fresh fruit or even just purchase...
