The first time I came in I got a gel builder on my nails by Karla, she did a great job! I booked for another date that I needed to reschedule due to me being in between jobs, as for the other times of having to reschedule again as well. Iâm in the service industry so I know how hard it is when clients do this but I did it with plenty of time in advance, as stated on their policy that if you cancel/reschedule less than 72 hours they would charge you 70% of the service which I totally respected that. This past Friday I had an appointment and had to reschedule for personal reasons but due to her schedule the soonest I could come back was like two weeks later so I set it for that date and was declined because of âhow many timesâ I rescheduled. No where in the policy does it say you canât reschedule the appointment a certain amount of times. I apologized and said that I will take back my appointment because I felt terrible, she declined so I asked if I could send money for the troubles because I get it, itâs a money thing thatâs why I offered and got no response. Fast forward to yesterday I received a text message saying I had an appointment at 12:00pm for today and I thought to myself âoh maybe she re considered because of the situation Iâm going throughâ so I drive the 35min there and tell them I have a 12:00pm appointment so I take a seat and wait to then be told they scheduled and texted the âwrong Abbyâ. How frustrating is that! I drove 35min for this appointment and when I asked if I could see someone else I was told that they canât take me anymore just because I rescheduled! If this is your policy it should be listed. I have never had this problem with any salon before and for myself if my clients cancel because of financial reasons, emergency, etc. I donât ban them as my client because stuff happens that we canât control. I feel like I should have gotten reached out to with a warning or a message asking the reason behind the rescheduling.
