Google plops you right on the doorstep so they're easy to locate. The store is clean, brightly lit, homey and HUGE! The yarn is organized neatly by weight so it was very easy to find exactly what I was looking for. (Medium weight cotton, in my case. There was LOTS more!) Prices are not all focused on the top end, I saw $7 skeins too which is great cuz I hate when specialty shops only cater to a richer crowd. There could be an even wider variety but that's not what I was looking for. The owner is really nice and she wound all my twisted hanks into hard core balls on the spot which I've not seen in other stores. I didn't realize until the next day that the labels for the yarn were the rewound cores, very clever. Suppose I can't lose them now lol. Can't wait start crocheting this...
Read moreThe yarn store feels very welcoming with yarns on the wall and tables neatly arranged but urging yarn hoarders to squish and drop into their baskets. There are comfortable couches by the fireplace showcasing a gorgeous lace shawl in wine red. The offering of chiagoo needles in various sizes are ample and crochet needles as well. The owner is very nice and inviting. I cannot wait to come for a knit night and ponder what yarns...
Read moreMy husband and I happened upon this new yarn shop on recent trip into Chesapeake. Its so open and airy, lots of light so you can see all the yarn. She has a cozy fireplace with seating so you and knit or crochet by it. Lots of different yarn with price points. We met the owner who is such a lovely sweet woman who said she had just opened 3 weeks ago. I'm definitely visiting this shop again and wish this shop...
