What an incredibly talented artist and nice guy. I remember seeing his work at the fairs in VT years ago, and always loved it. I'm a CT native and would go up to my father's cabin on the weekends. Fast forward 15+ years, and I see one of his bear carvings on Facebook Marketplace close to my home. So I picked it up. Reached out to Barre on Facebook messenger and he gave me great advice on preserving it for outdoor usage, as it had spent its previous life indoors. It's now refinished and drying. I can't wait to put it on the perfect fenced stump of a tree that came down in my front yard. Thanks Barre!!!

What an awesome place! Barre Pinske is an extremely talented artist, and his building is a treat in itself to visit. Custom carvings, art scuptures, wooden bears, chainsaw carving festivals, everything neat here! He's always ready to give you a full tour of the artistic process, and the great new performance space...
