I don’t even know where to begin to share what an amazing experience we had with having our daughter’s wedding at The Estate at Eagle Lake. We found out three weeks before her wedding day that her original venue could no longer accommodate us. The next day, I scoured the internet looking for outdoor wedding venues and came across Eagle Lake. We contacted them and were able to schedule a tour the following day. My daughter lives out of state so only my husband and I were able to tour. Brianna showed us around and we briefly met the owner, Scott, while walking in the garden. We loved the location and all the amenities that came with the property. We had one other venue to tour that afternoon, but we knew Eagle Lake was a strong contender. After touring the other location, we called our daughter and highly recommended they go with Eagle Lake. We were not one bit disappointed with that decision. We honestly wished we knew about Eagle Lake last year before the original venue was booked. The attention to detail that Scott has laboriously put into his property is very evident. From the ceremony location by the lake, to the fountain going off when the couple says “I do”, to the beautiful landscaping of the lawn and gardens, to the beach area and dock, to the AMAZING bridal AND groom suites provided a truly perfect and relaxing day. Two days before the wedding, a hurricane came through New Jersey and Eagle Lake lost power and had significant tree damage and loss. Scott, Brianna and their crew worked around the clock to ensure that the property was cleaned up and power was restored so that our daughter’s wedding took place. Scott was still cleaning up the day of the wedding and made sure everything looked great. I can’t thank them enough for all that they did. They were attentive and gracious, even when they must have been exhausted. The weather kept changing the day of the wedding and we while we were hoping to be able to have the ceremony outside, we had good alternate plans if not. They were flexible and so accommodating. Thankfully, the sun came out a half hour before the ceremony and we were able to have cocktail hour outside as well. The rain held off until we were under the tent. Everyone was comfortable under the tent even when the rain came down hard. It’s an amazing space. A huge bonus is having access to the bride and groom suites all day. The 9 bridesmaids and bride all got ready there and it was plenty of room for everyone. The hair and makeup professionals we had come in kept commenting on what awesome space it was. The 7 groomsmen and groom arrived and were able to hang out, play video games and billiards, eat and relax. There are several areas on the property to take amazing pictures and have a beautiful first look.
I would give this location and the staff ten stars if I could. We have no complaints..only praise. That this was accomplished in less than three weeks and deal with hurricane damage is honestly miraculous. Every guest I spoke to raved about the venue. We have three other daughters and would love to see them married here. We loved it that much. I can not recommend Estate at Eagle Lake enough. You will not be disappointed.
FYI: We also used Sensational Hosts as our caterer and I would also highly recommend them as well. We also rented some beautiful pieces and tent lighting from Deb at Relic Redo. She was excellent to work with and went beyond to help with getting the...
Read moreYou know how people talk about that moment you put on a wedding dress, see yourself in the mirror, then think "this is the one"? That's how we felt with Estate at Eagle Lake from the moment we saw it in person!
My husband Carlo and I got married at Estate at Eagle Lake on 7/22/2023 and we can't say enough amazing things about the venue and its staff! A huge and extra special shout-out to Brianna - the venue director, day-of coordinator, and for-hire wedding planner! She made our planning process and our actual wedding day absolutely seamless and perfect. She was even so thoughtful in making sure our other vendors were well taken care of and hydrated on our wedding day.
We were really trying to "ball on a budget" and we were amazed and thankful with how much we were able to plan our day based on our budget here. Catering and alcohol are separate costs from the venue, so we were able to choose an amazing caterer within our budget from their preferred vendor list and we were able to do a "beer, wine, and signature cocktails" bar instead of a full open bar to save more money. Eagle Lake also includes so many AMAZING amenities in such an affordable cost:
The ENTIRE venue for your event from 7 AM - 11 PM SO MANY PHOTO OP LOCATIONS including the love swing, sandy beach area with Adirondack chairs and a firepit in the evening, lakeside deck, cobblestone paths, rooftop area overlooking the lake, and plenty of grassy areas with beautiful flower blooms all over Stadium seating for a lakeside ceremony that is livestreamed by the venue if requested. We opted to do the livestream so that our family in other states and overseas could watch! Tented reception area with air conditioners and fans (the air conditioners are new as the owner Scott is always looking to make the venue better and more comfortable for all who come!) Romantic rooftop area for cocktail hour complete with a shaded gazebo, little basketball hoops, and koi pond A gorgeous bridal suite with 3 full salon setups A very cool groom's suite with a pool table upstairs that the groom and groomsmen can use while they're "getting ready" Indoor chapel and cocktail hour space for inclement weather Photo booth which delivers photos digitally (no print outs) Golf carts with attendants available to drive you around the venue
As if my description isn't dreamy and too-good-to-be-true enough for you to book your next event here, you have to check the website for pictures and book a tour the venue yourself to see its true beauty!
Our wedding truly wouldn't have been as magical if it were anywhere other than Estate at Eagle Lake. It's truly a hidden gem. We received SO many compliments from our wedding guests and I even got some inquiries about the venue from future brides looking for a wedding venue after I was tagged by some of our guests in Facebook pictures! If Carlo and I ever plan another big event, we'll absolutely come back to Estate at Eagle Lake with no hesitation and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to book a special event :)
TIP #1: For those who plan an event here, be sure to tell your guests of the pebble paths and grass so they can wear appropriate footwear. TIP #2: If you haven't booked here yet but are interested, go to an open house so that you can meet some of the preferred vendors and potentially get a...
Read moreFinally I'm able to write this review! And if you don't feel like reading, you should definitely just put this on your list of venues to visit because you'll fall in love once you turn your car into the cobblestone (or what I think is cobblestone, I'm not a paver) driveway. But seriously, just schedule a tour NOW! You won't regret it. And disclosure - I don't know anyone that works here or has had a wedding here. I'm just some random that did a google search and I fell in love instantly. So it really is an honest review.
We had our wedding just last weekend at the Estate at Eagle Lake after two long years of planning. Originally we were supposed to have our wedding in August of 2022 but life happened and things had to get put on hold. Brianna was amazing throughout the whole entire process. I've never met a better person and someone that's so accommodating and understanding with true dedication and pride in their job (besides Cathy from Cathy's Catering of course). I may have been an easier bride to work with but honestly I still had my worries, questions, and second guesses and not once did Brianna make me feel like I was annoying or make me doubt anything with my wedding planning and choices. As for the venue, it is perfect in every way. The staff at Eagle Lake have done an amazing job in keeping the grounds absolutely beautiful and SO much fun. There's so much to appreciate and enjoy and it's truly a venue that incorporates the beauty of nature with an elegant wedding style. The day of was even more amazing and the staff really put all of my visions together to make this an amazing day and night to remember. My friends and family are still telling me how much they enjoyed the wedding and how perfect the venue was. My one uncle even pulled up to the driveway and told me dad that he said "this can't be it" because he was in awe. I loved the ceremony on the lake, going right into cocktail hour in the beautiful rooftop garden (do you first look because this is a location you do not want to miss and just let your guests enjoy, you should enjoy also!!!), and then right into the tent. Ladies, the bridal suite to get ready in is top tier, I could've partied and hung out in there all day.
Did I mention how friendly and amazing the staff is? Because they truly all are. A few of my guests said they could talk to Scott (the owner) for hours. I get the wedding business is a business but I loved the fact that not one single person made you feel this way. It felt like more friends and family that are there for you every step of the way. There isn't a single venue that made me feel this way and there also wasn't a single venue that had absolutely everything you could possibly need to plan and have a wedding. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH. When my husband and I are 90 with our walkers, I hope to walk around the grounds and think back to our very day. And then maybe push him in the lake :) Just kidding. To the stars who listen and the dreams that are answered - thank you to the staff and vendors who made all our (my) wedding...
