I was completely blown away after year of visiting that I and my group were treated so poorly. I have been bringing my kids without another person for three year but today I was approached by a man, stating that I was not welcome unless I called ahead. Which would have been fine without and attitude. When I expressed that I had been doing this for years and never knew that that was a thing. He then pointed to the sign and let me know “well it says it right there” I have never been so upset and even more upset because my kids saw this man treat me with so much disrespect. I will not be bring my...

The Children's Village is a fantastic place to take your children all year round. However, the event this last week with Santa was so terrific! Were there Friday night. Campfire, marshmallows, carrots to throw on the roof for the reindeer and of course Santa. The guy that coordinates and makes this all happen is Aaron. He is always in a great mood, kidding around with the kids and making sure everyone is having the best time. He is what makes this place very special. Thank you Aaron for...

Easily one of the best places for children in Cheyenne. It is outdoors, free, and encourages all the exploration they can think of. Building blocks, water play, puppet theater, educational tidbits all over the place, flowers and plants. There's also an indoor classroom that encourages children to be children. Free story time Friday mornings at 11 with Mr. Aaron are a favorite! He is easily the best employee they have! His energy and charisma entice children to be engaged and have...

The Botanic garden was beautiful. Great free experience. Donation box at the beginning of the village. The kids enjoyed the interactive area to play. There was a small bridge where the kids could go and play and pull themselves across. The kids could hop in the shallow water and play. There were small teepees for the kids to climb around in as well! We saw a few bunnies at the entrance. Would definitely come back!

I've been bringing my kids here since this place opened. They are older now, but we still visit regularly. Very relaxing, beautiful, there's a lot for kids to do and it is really peaceful. It's free and right next to the park and the Botanical gardens. One of our favorite little places.

I visited just a week or two before the first snow. Perfect day, plants were thriving and my kids had a great time. There are activities like finding fairies that “live” in the garden for kids to do to keep them engaged. Get a the mug shots of the fairies at check in desk.
