Osaka Ebisu — Attraction in Chicago

I love this store! They have everything here: from Canmake, rom&nd, Clio, fwee, peri pera, etc. They have testers for everything and all the displays are clean. Everything I’ve been eyeing to buy, is in this store.

They also have a huge skincare and hair care section. The cashier was a really nice lady too. I liked that she wasn’t pushy about any sales. I’m a slow buyer and like to analyze makeup. So I liked that I wasn’t pressured to hurry up.

All the prices are affordable and comparable to online prices. And I actually would rather buy beauty products in person because it saves me time later for having to return something.

I saw a review stating “too expensive for small products.” Japanese and Korean products are manufactured at a higher standard than US products. Ingredients are of a higher grade. To ship them from Asia is expensive. I’d say that drugstore Japanese and Korean makeup is of higher quality than most products you’d find at US drugstores. Products made in Korea and Japan is usually healthier for us vs US brands.

All-in-all, I’m really happy that we finally have a mainstream Asian Beauty...

If you ever wanna experience Japanese/Asian beauty items, here’s a really good place to start.

They have a pretty decent variety of items, but it is smaller compared to larger stores, but I think it also limits you from feeling overwhelmed and they still have namebrand and viral products.

They also have a lottery game that you pay a ticket and win a prize but it’s like a blind box prize. It’s $16.99 a ticket and it was fun!

This store makes you feel like you’re in Japan! It’s full of Japanese goodies. There’s makeup, household goods, and snacks. I went here with my friends. We were surprised by their vast selection. They have all of the viral Tik tok and Instagram beauty products. I picked up some shampoo and eyeliners to try! I’m so glad this place opened since it’s convenient and free street parking.
