I stopped into McKinstry Farms after work on Monday June 10th to pick up some plants for my wife. I was hungry so I decided to purchase a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant. This chicken salad sandwich with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, on a croissant was fantastic! I don’t know what they did or how they did it but that was by far the best chicken salad sandwich perhaps the best sandwich period, that I’ve ever had. I only wish I had taken a photo because it looked as delicious as it tasted. This was the first time I have ever purchased prepared foods from them, and I can promise you it will not be my last. Read moreI'm so glad I found this little gem. They have a wide variety of fresh produce and the best apple cider donuts I've ever tried before. They're prices are very reasonable and they also accept SNAP benefits which I feel not a lot of recipients of that program know about unless they go there. I feel to get families in purchasing more fresh produce maybe some local marketing strategies could be implemented; as most recipients of these programs unfortunately lack the health literacy conveyed at such an important and outstanding program. Read moreAlthough this market is pretty good i had to give it 2 stars because there prices are a little high but most importantly not consistant and they just continue to increase them literally by the day! For example I went there a couple weeks ago for seeded watermelon and it was $13.50, so i went the begining of this week for another and it was $14.99 and then i went again yesterday and it is now $16....side bar(the size of them have always been the same)!
