Great China — Restaurant in Chicopee

I now know why I was the only person picking up food. They need to shut the doors and spend some time learning how to cook. Boneless ribs were pieces of pork shoulder, dyed red and steamed with absolutely no flavor. The lo mein was noodles with soy sauce and did not remotely taste like they were stir fried. Lo mein had absolutely no vegetables, not even an onion. Sweet and sour chicken were sponges of overly thick batter completely dripping with oil and the sauce was most likely Hawaiian punch thickened with cornstarch, again no flavor!! The egg foo young was soggy lumps of flavorless egg filled with water and grease. Again no flavor, vegetables or scallions. The sauce for the egg foo young was a lumpy brown mess of flavorless goop. Fried rice was soggy and tastes only of soy sauce. Get it together or close the doors and go away. First and last order from this place. I never expect much ordering from any of the half as* roach shops in the area, but this place takes the prize when it comes to half as*!!!! I guess this is what I get for not wanting to wait until tomorrow for Po's...

Placed an online order for pickup. Ordered one combo platter (says it includes pork fried rice) two soups, and an order of crab Rangoon. Once we got home we realized the “combo” platter came with everything BUT rice.. I called the restaurant to let them know our combo platter had no rice and would like to go back and pickup a “side” of it as we had paid for. We then argued back and forth on whether or not it came with rice. Once he confirmed yes it indeed does I then proceed to remind him our order has no rice.. He then proceeds to continue to tell me it comes with the “combo platter”.. as we had just discussed.. with no resolved resolutions available I decided to take the loss. On top of that the majority of the food is inedible.. broth of the soup tasted odd and old and the wontons that were in it.. I’m not sure how to describe it but ultimately inedible.. crab Rangoon had no taste other than cream cheese alone. NEED TO READ THIS!!! 😤 I’m sorry, I’m not trying to be rude but...this place was discusting !! We stopped in to order(have never been here before)because we felt like Chinese food. Well needless to say, we won’t be going back! We were the only customers there and we waited for over a half hour for our food! It never usually takes that long ( they weren’t too busy either). We had to sit at a table and wait, so we had plenty of time to look around and see how discusting it was in there!! DIRTY!!! GREASY!!! We didn’t even want to sit there to wait. Went to pull out a chair and it was greasy, sticky and dirty! That’s what really made me look around. What we really wanted was to get our money back and go elsewhere, but we figured we’d give it a chance. It was terrible, and we threw just about all of it in the trash. (They mustn’t change their oil much because it was bitter.) waste of money! I’m sorry for all you people that like it here but I just “had” to say something. If you only get takeout then you probably wouldn’t know about it. Glad we didn’t order...
