The Grove Pottery — Attraction in China Grove

Had such a fun time here for a girls’ day out! The space was cozy and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. We really enjoyed getting creative and painting our own pieces! It was such a relaxing way to spend the afternoon and distract my own mom from her surprise birthday party!

A few suggestions that could make the experience even better: I’d love to see more “plain” customizable options like simple coffee mugs or vases. Most of the pieces available were more design-based, and I think a few more classic choices would be a great addition. Also, some light background music would’ve helped set the mood- something to make the space feel more inviting.

One other note: they were completely out of yellow paint during our visit, which was a bit disappointing since it’s such a basic color- and the piece I chose already had a sunflower design. Hopefully they’ll restock soon!
