Hardee’s — Restaurant in China Grove

My father went in and got spoken to in an unimaginable way. A woman named Debra told my father that he wouldn’t get a senior discount and if he didn’t like it to get the hell out of HER store. She then continued to speak to him like a dog! We’ve been going to this Hardee’s for the last 25 years AT LEAST and I have NEVER experienced such disrespect. It was okay that he didn’t receive the discount, we just asked if there IS one! but to speak to him the way she did? This man is in his 70s. He should never have been spoken to that way and in front of a full restaurant at that! She was so rude to my father that she made him cry! and it wasn’t just him! She was speaking so poorly to the other customers I was disgusted! The rest of the staff looked so uncomfortable to be working with her! It’s one thing to enforce policy as the lady said, but to belittle someone? and in front of an audience? Absolutely disgusting! I wouldn’t even give 1 star but...

They sold me old and cold refried onion rings, an a stale miniature strawberry ice cream cone. It barely had 3 table spoons, not even a normal scoop, of hard ice cream and the cone was mushy and stale. They advertised it like a soft serve at a similar price. The Diet Dr. Pepper was water down too! On a positive note both the grilled chicken sandwich and chicken tenders were good. Also the tomato and lettus were on the sandwich were fresh, though it barely had any lettus. If I had only ordered the sandwich and tenders they probably would have received 4 stars, but the unethical practice of water down soda, refrying old onion rings, and their over priced miniature ice cream took 2 stars. Ok DEBRA HAS GOT TO GO. She was SO hateful to me at the drive thru last Saturday morning because I gave her a coupon to use… she told me “the next time you’ll have to come inside but you’re supposed to tell me at the speaker that you have a coupon. I apologized as I did not know that this was their procedure and assured her that the next time I come through, I will let them know about any coupons at the speaker. Debra then continued to chastise me the entire time I was at the window telling me how she “would do it but didn’t want to”….. over a coupon….? She spoke to me like I was dirt on the bottom of her shoe. Debra should not be in customer service if she doesn’t like servicing customers. I would recommend this Hardee’s, but I will never ever ever recommend Debra. She was so rude to me...
