The Nancy and David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center is an expertly assembled and thoughtfully presented collection of Holocaust stories & memorabilia that leave a serious impression. Through impressive and clearly deliberate design choices, the museum's curators expertly and tastefully portray the most horrific tragedy in modern human history.

When learning about the Holocaust, it is often difficult to make it through stories or exhibitions without choking back tears - the Nancy and David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center is no exception. By focusing on the story, lineage and character traits of around a dozen survivors, the museum's innovative format can shine.

It is always important to be educated about the Holocaust - in Germany, it is absolutely mandatory to complete school with a thorough education of the Shoah. This is so we do not repeat it again, or come close - although ethnic and interreligious conflict today feels like we're coming ever closer.

My visit ended with a guest speaker, a second-generation child of a Holocaust survivor who was incredibly professional and shared deeply personal stories without hesitation to a group of high schoolers. Her speech can motivate all of us to be upstanders, as opposed to bystanders. I have no complaints, and would be happy to...

I was able to visit the Holocaust and Humanity center on a field trip. Heres my experience

  1. Great art in the museum and a lot of information: If you go downstairs in the museum you will see great art on the walls and interactive places along with a lot of information. The art is very creative and immersive. I watched a film and the fact that the film screen stretched over 20 feet made the film very immersive to watch.

  2. Much amount of information, interesting to learn: With the immersive art and interactive stations, It will make learning about this time period very interesting and immersive.

  3. Tour guides - explain in depth information at each part of the museum: the tour guide is able to explain the information at a high level.

Overall Great experience and a great place to be if you are interested in the time period. Even a good place to...

This is worth the price of admission and an excellent learning opportunity.

This was an emotional exhibit as it really brought the Holocaust to you in a way I haven’t seen before. Some of the people that witnessed it talk about their experiences and are living in Cincinnati as well. They have exhibits that have actual clothes that were worn during this time. They showcase the lives of those that did and didn’t escape this terrible time in our history. It begins with how they were living and how things changed for the worst. They have a lot of memorabilia that really personalizes this. It makes you wonder what you would have done during that time. Would you have just stood by or would you have tried to help?

There is an interactive kiosk at the end and you add your photo...

I highly recommend purchasing a ticket to see the Nancy and David Wolf Holocaust and Humanity Center located within the Cincinnati Museum Center. This exhibition and display of materials is extremely powerful and moving. The display of artifacts, art and pictures offers first hand experiences from survivors from the one of the darkest periods of human history who survived and live in Cincinnati. I especially appreciated the actionable character strengths shared within the exhibit because in a single moment each of us has a choice to act and make a difference…to become an active upstander so that this can never happen again.

Located in the lower level of the Union Terminal. There were lots of interactive exhibits and it was really well done. It was appropriate for children and good to hold kids attention as well. Also, there is a section on modern day slavery. They have a pass you can buy for a discount with the Underground Railroad Museum.
