Museum of Natural History & Science — Attraction in Cincinnati

They have a nice showcase for the dinosaur exhibit. They have several skeletons of the dinosaurs for you to see. It was a fun time to look and see how large some of the dinosaurs were to scale to us. There are several areas and it intertwines throughout the building.

As you walk through the exhibits, it moves in time as well. You go through an area that looks like an ice cave and then to the tropical times of mammals. There is a cool globe that you can watch or make it move yourself through time from when the Earth was young to modern times. They even have a star on the globe showing you where Cincinnati was throughout the evolution of the continents.

Highly recommend this to families as it was a fun time going through all the areas. The tunnels were the best and the Ice Age exhibit...

Had an absolutely wonderful visit to the museum to see the Pompeii special exhibit. The is a beautiful building with lots of options (I believe two museums and an iMAX theater in addition to the feature exhibit space. There are also spots to grab a bit on the ground and first floor and a gift shop with a wide selection.

The Pompeii exhibit was excellent. The crowd was well controlled, good context for the individual items on display, and some great multimedia exhibits. Very well done and well worth the drive to get there. Certainly looking forward to getting back there again.

I really enjoyed this Natural History Museum, def worth the price imo! It was a lil hard to figure out which direction to go but i feel like thats intentional to have that sense of “discovery”. There were a lot of categories, great displays, artificial cave and glacier systems with running water, appealing lighting and sounds. Theres enough fun interaction for kids but some more in-depth areas/ videos for the adults. Parking was simple and the entrance is grand. Many great picture opportunities....
