West Village Park — Attraction in Citrus Park

Great kids playground with new equipment. Paved walking trail is great for strollers; gives a nice loop and benches near the play area. Two docks over the water for watching small fish or admiring the view. Seasonal ducks can get a bit overly friendly for bread, so beware if you or your kids have crackers! Basketball court, tennis court, poles for volleyball/tether-ball, great hills for rolling down, picnicking, and slightly blocking the view of the road. Nice area to go for a walk, walking paths are great. There are both basketball and tennis courts close to the parking area. This park has a small playground for the kids, convenient. Now this park is the smaller one across from the convenient store and the newer, larger Carrollwood Village Park. This one is the West Village Basketball Court/Park. Gorgeous park! Beautifully upkept and designed. A walk around the pond is so soothing. The shallow water is so clear you can see every fish and diving bird! The tennis and basketball courts look fantastic, and the playground has nice shady benches to watch the kids.
