Emerald Greens Condo Resort — Hotel in Citrus Park

My husband and I stayed at Emerald Greens Condos for two weeks while my husband had treatments at Moffitt. A friend had suggested that we try this place for our stay in Tampa rather than a hotel. It was a perfect place for us in a very nice area with Publix and many restaurants nearby. Our condo was a two bedroom/two bath with washer and dryer on the second floor. The front door to the building is only accessible with your room key so we felt very safe and secure. The common areas were also very clean. Parking is right out front with a short walk. ||||This was our first time away from home since the Covid-19 pandemic started and needless to say I was nervous about staying anywhere but home. All my worries went away once we settled in. Our place was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Our bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. There is a golf course across the parking lot with a clubhouse. Because of the pandemic some things were not available such as the pool except to swim laps and the gym was closed but it looked like a nice pool. Food was available for take-out from the clubhouse and we could eat outside. The food was very good. The golf course was open so my husband was able to play golf a few times. It was a very nice well maintained course. It would be a great place for a golf getaway. This property is nestled in a really nice area with lots of sidewalk so I could take my morning walks.||||I would definitely stay here again. ||||||J.R. We were looking for a place to stay for a couple of months over the summer while our house was being finished and came across Emerald Greens through the head of membership at Carrollwood Country Club. From the start, David made the whole process painless. He went above and beyond with customer service, even offering a pet-friendly option with a discount when we thought we’d be bringing our dog (though sadly that didn’t end up being the case).

The unit itself worked perfectly for a longer stay with two kids. The rooms aren’t the trendiest or most updated, but they’re incredibly spacious. The master suite was huge, the guest room was just as big, and TVs in every room made family living simple. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need to actually live there comfortably for a couple of months, which made a huge difference.

The best part was the amenities. Having unlimited access to the pool, splash pad, and playground on site was a complete game changer for us with kids. On top of that, everyone living there full-time was welcoming and kind, we made some genuine friendships during our short stay.

And if you’re a golfer, it doesn’t get better: you can literally walk across the parking lot to the driving range and clubhouse. Many nights we’d stroll over for dinner, live music, or drinks at Carrollwood Country Club, and the food and cocktails were consistently fantastic.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Emerald Greens Condo Resort as part of a 12 lady, 3 day two night Girls Golf Getaway. I am the group organizer and had multiple properties to choose from when planning this getaway. Putting my trust in JR at Emerald Greens was the best decision I have made in years. Our getaway was a glowing success and that success was because of the exceptional customer service we received from JR and his affiliates! The condo resort property has all the amenities necessary to fulfill everyone's individual wants and needs. The condos themselves are clean, well equipped and laid out such that each occupant has their privacy. We enjoyed the associated golf course, Carrollwood Country Club as well during our stay - Pine to Cypress rotation. That experience too was fantastic! The employees there went out of there way to make us feel welcome and ascertain that we enjoyed our round. Shout out to the club for the free bottled waters provided during what was an unseasonably warm day even to Florida standards. The golf course itself was in great condition and presented a challenge without being over the top difficult because of the multiple tee boxes to choose from.
