Albany Civic Theater Inc — Attraction in City of Albany

Theater always depends on the cast, the director, the sets, and other elements. The Minutes was great on all aspects and going to the venue makes you part of the family.

One element is the script that tells the story. This is a great script with a huge twist that gives deep meaning to the play.

The cast was filled with old friends who excel at this craft. They are professionals who take theater very seriously. These are people who wake up in the middle of the night and jot down notes on their character.

This is a small and vintage theater with lots of heart. It is obvious as soon as you walk in the door and the people helping in the ticket booth, as the ticket taker, ushers, and concessions (water bottles and candy bars) are very passionate about their theater and it's productions. The acting was really good and the play was well blocked and directed. There is not a bad seat in the house. I'm getting season tickets (4 shows for the price of 3)...

Warning...this is a review for your BOX OFFICE! I give you 5 stars for what was just the BEST box office call EVER. The woman who answered (wish I has asked her name!) was friendly and professional and quick as lightening. Now is that too much to ask of ANY Box Office. Very pleasant speaking voice, too.
