Beautiful Park surrounded by Farms next to the normanskill river. Sometimes the dog park needs a mowing desperately. This is really just a big fenced-in open space for your dog to run around. There aren't any obstacles or things like that. They do have a dispenser for dog bags but sometimes there are still piles of poop. But generally people clean up after their dogs. Don't go here after it rains because there is a muddy patch near the entrance. Overall we love taking our dog here and she loves coming to chase her Frisbee and sniff around at the other dogs. The trail goes along the creek, and into a little woodsy area with shade. Bug spray is obvious, they weren't bad when I went a week ago. Water is good for swimming just find the little paths to the water created by dogs and people walking. Read moreOn top of inconvenient access, the dog park area of the property is positioned at the bottom of a long hill, so it's essentially just a catch basin with no drainage, even though the kill is maybe a little over 100 yards away. Right now, mid-February, it's a mix of sheet ice, slushy areas, standing frigid water, and muddy grass.
