Visiting the Ten Broeck Mansion in Albany was like stepping back in time! From the moment I stepped inside, I was blown away by the gorgeous architecture and the beautiful gardens surrounding the mansion. The attention to detail in the restoration is incredible, and it really shows off the elegance of the early 19th century.
The guided tour was the best part of my visit. Our knowledgeable guide told us all sorts of fascinating stories about the mansion’s history and the Ten Broeck family. I was especially impressed by the super cool period furnishings and the amazing craftsmanship everywhere. Each room was like a portal to a different era, and I loved learning about the mansion’s important role in Albany’s history.
The gardens were just as magical as the inside. Wandering through the lush greenery and colorful flowers was the perfect way to relax after the tour. It’s a great spot for taking pictures or just enjoying nature’s beauty.

So thoughtfully presented, including the enslaved people and Mrs. Vosburgh, an important abolishonist and the house chatelain for the next inhabitants of the mansion. Wish I'd taken some pictures, but was so...
