I loved dorming at this quad during my time at UAlbany. Although making friends was somewhat difficult, so I figured this would be a good time for me to be productive and independent. I was placed in the sayles building in which I was able to access the only parking lot that existed instead of parking on the street. I got to make use of my room as a place to do work and study, the dining hall was pretty good; all you can eat type of area, along with being able to access the gym to get my lifts in on a weekly basis. Only flaws is not having a screen on my window and it never got replaced after I requested it several times, and no heat until the end of October in which my room got down to 50 degrees. Read moreWhile attending SUNY Albany I was staying at Alumini quad. This place is always kept clean. The dorms are a good enough size if you aren’t a person that brings a lot of things. It’s great if you want to feel like you are living off campus because it’s literally off campus lol. It’s downtown and takes 10 mins to get to the main campus. The rooms are bigger and nicer than the ones on let's say Indian or State quad.
