I grew up in Glen Cove over 60 years ago and have many wonderful memories of going to Razzanos with my buddies as a teen for heros after playing pickup football games. I now live in Oyster Bay but my brother lives a short walk from Razzanos. He has trouble getting around and today I had Razzanos on my mind. Been too long. I called my brother and asked if he wanted anything and he said Yea, A Veal Parm hero! I ordered the Mussolini and it was PERFECTION! DELICIOUS. I dropped Tommy's off and called him later. Things here can run pricey, and sometimes the people behind the counter can be pretty arrogant, but I do think it can be worth it if you're in the mood for authentic Italian food. Their deli sandwiches come absolutely STUFFED with cold-cuts, so if you're the type of person who likes a lot of meat in your sandwich, you should definitely come here! Also, the prices listed are not the prices you are charged at the register. They should be ashamed, scamming their customers like that. So be sure to request the price before ordering because you will be shocked at checkout. The sandwiches are seemingly thick but after biting in to it you see that the sandwich is nothing more than a small amount of meat and cheese (similar to Subway) along with thick sliced tomato and a truck load of lettuce....
