De Veaux Woods State Park — Attraction in City of Niagara Falls

This could be a very nice park. We took a walk 3 weeks ago, and the place looks trashy, the maintenance vehicles are parked haphazardly, as if they are no longer used, dirt piles everywhere but no indication that “improvements are happening”. The longer trail ends nowhere near wood chip pile. It’s a small place which with minimal effort of some parks workers could be quite nice. The Covid19 signs are just perfect though. Great place to take the kids for a picnic, nature walk, or just to play on the playground. Stop here on your bike trips and check out the new rides they installed to the playground. Maybe a hike on the woods trail to view some old-growth trees is more your style, either way you will enjoy the park.
