My wife, friends, and I had an incredible experience riding the Whirlpool Aero Cable Car on a Sunday evening. The ticket cost was c$19.50 per person, which we found to be reasonable for the amazing ride we had. The best part was that parking was free, which added to the overall value. We arrived and had a waiting time of around 20 minutes before boarding the cable car. The wait may vary depending on the crowd, but we didn't mind as we were excited about the experience. Once we were onboard, we soared high above the racing Niagara River, enjoying the breathtaking views of the Great Gorge. The cable car itself has a charming antique design, resembling an aeroplane. It added to the unique and nostalgic atmosphere of the ride. As we glided through the air, we marveled at the sheer power of the Niagara River below us. The sight of the water abruptly changing direction and creating the Niagara Whirlpool was truly mesmerizing. While the whirlpool can be intimidating, it was an unforgettable sight to witness. The raw force of nature was on full display, and it left us in awe. The entire experience was thrilling and provided us with a newfound appreciation for the natural wonders of the world. Overall, we highly recommend the Whirlpool Aero Cable Car to anyone visiting Niagara Falls. The combination of the breathtaking views, reasonable ticket price, and free parking makes it a fantastic attraction. You should get a two day pass $79 or $99 to all major attractions and it will save you a lot of money. There’s plenty of parking around and the whole experience takes about 30 minutes to and fro including checkin at the counter. If you are taking a WeGo Green bus South for which the pass is included in your 2 day attractions visit bundle, the bus will take you around all the major attractions without the worry of parking. The buses arrive every 15 minutes. The guide we had was pretty awesome and tried her best as a 15 year old kid. Proud of the way she took her work seriously. Whirlpool Aero Car is an unforgettable ride over the vibrant, teal-coloured waters of the Niagara River. You will witness spectacular views of the swirling Niagara Whirlpool and the river’s Class 6 rapids as you soar 3,500 feet across the Niagara Gorge. Although it travels between two points on the Canadian shore, this antique cable car will actually take you across the international border between Canada and the United States a total of four times due to the way the river elbows. No passport required! **No wait time **You do have to get up/down 15-20 stairs to get to aero car and disabled person may not find it feasible. **Restrooms available on site **You will not get down at anytime during the aero car round trip but just swap the positions with other visitors so as to get 360 degree view of the George.

Beneath the Whirlpool Aero Car lies the Niagra River racing at 23mph, at 125-foot depth. The antique cable car extends 200 feet above and slowly goes across the gorge and returns again. There is no sitting room, just standing against the ledge and at the mercy of the cables above. This offered the most spectacular views that I tried to capture and show with a combination of some videos and photos, but there wasn't any getting a phone or camera back from here if they were dropped. I don't love heights or water, funny enough, but some things just can't be passed up, and I'd say this is a must do for anyone visiting the falls. The ticket prices were reasonable, views spectacular, and a great informative telling of the cable car and area from the guide that travels with. Don't worry about views or where you stand as you'll walk 360 degrees around at the turnabout point. Plentiful parking, the wait wasn't anymore than twenty or thirty minutes, you can save time by purchasing tickets elsewhere in advance. Nice gift shop and café, and seating. Comfortable and spacious area. Highly recommended.

I had a great experience at the Whirlpool Aero Car and thoroughly enjoyed the stunning views it offered. Without the Aero Car, I wouldn't have explored that particular part of Niagara, so I'm glad I decided to give it a try. The scenery from the car was absolutely beautiful, and I found it to be a very scenic and enjoyable ride. However, I do have a few minor points of critique. The ride itself felt a bit short, especially after reaching one side and then returning. The return trip seemed to be faster than the initial journey, which was a little disappointing. Additionally, considering the relatively short duration of the ride, I personally felt that the $19.50 online price tag was slightly overpriced. Despite these aspects, I enjoyed the experience and appreciated the opportunity to witness that particular part of Niagara. I would definitely give it a positive rating and recommend trying it out. Just be aware of the pricing and consider opting for the package deals instead of a standalone ride to ensure a fair value for your money.

Description
The Whirlpool Aero Car or Spanish Aero Car is a cable car located in Niagara Falls, Ontario that transports passengers over a section of the Niagara River referred to as the Niagara Whirlpool. The system was designed by Spanish engineer Leonardo Torres Quevedo and has been upgraded several times since 1916.
