Worst Burger, Worst Fries – A Complete Waste of Money

We ordered 3 Timberwolf burgers and 3 cheeseburgers, and honestly, it was a huge disappointment. Most of them were left half-eaten, and my kids barely touched theirs one cheeseburger only had a single bite taken out of it. For the price we paid, this was absolutely not worth it. Burgers: The patties were dry, like they had been sitting around for a day. The buns tasted old, and the only fresh part of the burger was the cheese. French Fries: Dry, tasteless, and overcooked. We specifically asked for freshly cooked fries, and although the cashier said “no problem,” I saw her simply take fries from the container and drop them back in the fryer double-fried and passed off as “new.” Unsurprisingly, they were even worse.

Most of our food ended up in the garbage because it was inedible. This isn’t the first time either I complained to the manager last year about the same issues, and clearly, nothing has improved. If they cared, changes would have been made by now.

We visit Great Wolf Lodge every year, but this restaurant has remained consistently disappointing. Honestly, this will be my last time buying food from The Buckets. To GWL management please take this seriously and do something about it. Right now, this place doesn’t even deserve one star I would rate it...

Buckets is a fast-food restaurant in the Great Wolf Lodge waterpark area which you can use your lunch vouchers at as part of the dining package there. Adult hamburgers come with onions and lettuce but child hamburgers do not. One important piece about this place is that they have gluten-free buns for hamburgers (no hotdog buns available when we were there early December 2023). Buckets is an amazing place to try out if you want a bite while you are at the water park. The burgers are amazing and the other food is good to. But there are a few problems that make the experience decline in ratings. First of all the intense noise of screaming and water. It makes it really hard to order.
