Plattsburgh State Art Museum — Attraction in City of Plattsburgh

I recently moved to the area and was excited to see Plattsburgh had an art museum but, unfortunately when I visited it turned out to be a disappointment. The museum website led me to believe that it was open year round which, it isn't. Located on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus, we walked into a dimly lit entryway with no clear signage or someone to greet us so, we began to wonder. Eventually someone arrived to open the door to the sculpture area on the 2nd floor. When I asked about the art shown on the website she said that they only display during the school year. There are exactly 8 publicly accessible pianos in this building (including practice rooms) and ONE HUNDRED PERCENT OF THEM are horrifically out of tune both during and between semesters. Please don't let anyone you love study music here, they don't even care enough to maintain...
