While I was on break one day I walked by this store for the umpteenth time and saw a beautiful dining table in the store window. I had gone by this store many times but never went in. I asked for the price and to my disbelief it was priced at $199.99 for the table and 6 or 8 chairs. It is a wrought iron table with granite and or marble (I am not sure which) border and heavy beveled glass top. The chairs are also wrought iron (quite heavy) and all iron is painted antique cream. The set looks brand new and the upholstery on the chairs is immaculate. I could not believe the cost was sooo low, so I verified with the store manager to make sure that it was actually that price. I already have two decent tables as it is, however I could not stop thinking about this set. I returned to the store again on my lunch on another day and found that the table was still there. So, here we are Saturday and still thinking about the table. I finally spoke to my husband and he said to go ahead and get it, however I was unable to go back to the store untill Monday when I return to work. I was so worried somebody would purchase my table that I googled the store and got the telephone number. I called and the table was still available. I asked if I could buy it and put it on my credit card and before I knew it the set was all mine. I am sooo excited. Also, while I went in to see the set the other day I finally went through the store and found many, many interesting pieces and items of interest. I bought a complete Italian BOCCE BALL SET with metal playing balls in it's original case. If you don't know what a bocce ball game is, well quite simply it's a lawn game that is very popular in Italy. This set was priced at only 12.75. We will have many hours of outdoor enjoyment with this set. I do not believe I had ever seen one before for sale anywhere and would never have thought to buy one, but here I am a proud owner of a great passtime game to enjoy this summer with friends and family. I also purchased a unique semi precious stones display. There are 16 different stones shaped like balls the size approx. 1 inch in diameter and all have a stand to set them on. It makes a very interesting display and have put them in my office. This store is worth your time and money. So if you are in the area, take the time to look around because I know you will find something special as well. They have quite a variety of furniture, jewlery and too many things to even mention. I am fortunate enough that it is only two minutes from my work to walk there an will have the opportunity to visit it often. This has made my dreary rainy Saturday a verry happy one. I am looking forward to visiting this store often and cannot wait to see the table in my home. It is quite the experiene for those of you who love to bargain hunt. FURNITURE AND DECOR you have my vote for a great store. If you like crystals, they have a large variety at only 1 dollar each. It looks like many have come from chandeliers. Surely unfriendly men who obviously do not want to be working. Partner business with Antique and Variety Mall...both bad attitude employees.

Being consignment furniture they occasionally get an interesting piece or two. But not worth the bad attitude of the staff. Other places friendly wanting you business.

I've been buying the odd piece from friends home here over the years. Now, I'll just let friends know if they ever sell...I'll just buy it from them!

Today we complimented staff on an item..and got rude grumpy reaction....where we felt...we obviously we're not wanted as customers.

Plattsburgh tries to grow. But attitude of these local shops extremely negative.

Don't waste your time....go hiking. See Adirondacks. You'll find better antiques along...

The Furniture & Decor store was the JC Penney store when I was a kid. The store seemed so much bigger then.

Now the building is a great store with so much to look at and buy in the way of good quality, lightly used merchandise curated in vinettes from individual sellers throughout the store.

Great place to buy different types of furniture. We bought at least two dressers, a chair as well as lots of decor.

The business is locally owned and the venders are local.

It's a fun place to visit,...
