Michigans Plus — Restaurant in City of Plattsburgh

On 10/23 I took my mom & granddaughter to get some lunch. We ordered michigans, tater tots, hot dog with 🍟. As I was eating my first michigan I was half way done when I pulled a string of some kind out of my mouth. It wasn't human hair it felt and looked like wig hair. I told the waitress. She then went and told another waitress. The waitress came right over to my mom told my mom that nobody there in the kitchen had gray hair. We tried to tell her it wasn't my mom it was me. She then looked & accused my mom very loudly of putting it in my food. My mom told her that she wasn't the one who found it. The waitress ask to see it I had put it on the floor she looked down and found it right off. She yelled at me in front of everyone saying and accused us of planting it in my food. Why would we do that when we go there to eat there a few times a month. Mind you I was starting to eat my 2nd michigan when all this happen. I didn't finish the first one. The waitress came over with the Bill said to me that she didn't have the right to take the 1 michigan off. I didn't finish eating I was so upset cause the waitress was so rude, yelled and embarrassed my 70 year old mom who has a heart condition. Then when I was cashing out cause I didn't have a problem paying for what we are. The waitrss still proceed to be loud and yelling. She didn't take off the 1 michigan. So I told her that everyone would know what happened. She then got really rude., yelling and I told her I know how things work in a restaurant and that the way she was just wasn't right. She then ask where I worked and I told her at a very highly recommended restaurant downtown. She yelled as I was walking out the door. Because of her when I was walking out people were walking in and I told them I woulsbt go in there cause the waitress is rude and there was stuff in my sauce. She continued to yell at me so I finally yelled back as I walked out. Remind you it didn't look or feel like human hair at all. This waitress shouldn't be working with public. If my dad was alive he would be so upset with all this cause he use to go there at least once a week even if it was just to...

MY ORDER: 3 STACKS OF PANCAKES, 3 scrambled eggs(with tomatoes), 2 sausages and 2 bacon. BEVERAGE : coffee with half/half

When you search the definition of a restaurant it is described as “a place where people pay to sit and eat meals that are cooked and served on the premises.” The definition for customer service is “the assistance and advice provided by a company to those people who buy or use its products or services.”…..

5 hours….5 long hours I traveled to the city of Plattsburgh; to embark on another mission which I completed…..But not only did the 5 hour solo car karaoke fest LINKIN PARK helped me complete this mission.. “MICHIGAN PLUS” gave me the energy (THE FUEL) I needed to successfully complete what NEEDED TO BE DONE on this mission…

The minute you walk into this fine restaurant you’re immediately greeted with the fresh aroma coming from the grill. The chefs, grill masters channeling their energy creating dish after dish after dish. BREAKFAST, LUNCH and DINNER! This fine establishment serves it all!! Even though they’re open 7 days a week from 7am till 3pm. I must say my first time in Plattsburgh, first time at Michigans Plus…being recommended this place by a staff at the nearby Hampton Inn… I knew immediately this fine restaurant never ever “missed a step”, “skipped a beat”. The staff especially my waitress and the OWNER (whom I met)….SO DAMN PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY! EVERYONE TREATED ME with respect and just overall a great customer service.

My food….my MEAL…..HOT DAMN!!! Now I know I had a large plate of breakfast. But I needed to prepare for this battle I was going to be in. This mission is important to me for my life and the level I NEED TO ASCEND TO. My pancakes were fully cooked individually filled with FLAVOR, my eggs were SCRAMBLED….SCRAMBLED(with tomatoes). My sausages and bacon all tasted fresh! Everything was fresh…. Quick side note (if only they had other milk options) but overall!!!!!!

I am thankful for and happy(plus FULL) all because of the heart of Plattsburgh, NY….Michigans Plus

PS: The mission...

I was very ready to go have breakfast at what is usually a great place to eat. I had done my errands for my wife and got to Michigans Plus in Plattsburgh, NY at 12:15 - thought it was gonna my lucky day. Got the parking space right in front of the entrance and went it. I went straight to the seat yourself bar where the two people next to me were looking over their menus with water in front of them. I nodded hello to them and waited for a menu and a server. A couple of minutes later, the waitress showed up and asked the two next to me if they were ready to order. They both ordered and it all sounded great. The lady took their menus and put them in their little holder right in front of me. Now, maybe she thought someone else was gonna give me a menu or even acknowledge my existence with a greeting. She told the two next to me, “I will put that right in and get you your chili.” To me, she said nothing. I know and recognize that we are still struggling with a pandemic and restaurants are almost all short handed. I have no problem with that except with the fact that for almost twenty minutes that I sat in Michigans Plus ,no one, including the owner and even the chef that walked by, said even ‘hello’. Yes, Michigans Plus was very busy but the waitress had the time to bring all of the food to people on my left and a piece of chocolate cake to the gentleman on my right but could not find the time to give me a menu and say something like, “I am sorry, we are very busy I will be with you as soon as I can,” and trust me, I would have understood. After twenty minutes, (give or take two minutes), I told the people eating next to me, “Have A Nice Day!” and I walked out and drove 5 minutes away to another great breakfast place on Bridge Street in Plattsburgh called The Campus Corner. Even though they were just as busy, they managed to greet and serve me and send me on my way happily, with a full belly, all, in about the same time I sat and waited at The Michigans Plus in Plattsburgh, NY.
