I was expecting to see a nice skyline view, but it was from a distance, and there were only 2 benches that were occupied.

Parking is free around the reservoir, and the walk around is nice but not too long if you want to enjoy the walk.

Car shares the same road in a few places. It's a good place in the city center for people in the city center, but in my point of view, it's not worth visiting if you are coming...

In all my years of visiting the great city of Rochester I have never visited the Cobbs Hill Reservoir until September 7, 2019. It was a wonderful experience for me just walking around the water and taking pictures on a beautiful late summer afternoon. The reservoir offers up some spectacular views of downtown Rochester. I came back early the next morning to capture the sunrise on the city. That did not...

A fun hike from our friend's house to get here and a nice walk around the reservoir especially when the sun is either rising or setting. Also a great view of the downtown area to one side of the reservoir where they have benches. My rating would be higher if there was better access to the track along the fence around the reservoir as it's otherwise a steep climb to the track. Parking is available...

In all my years of visiting the great city of Rochester I have never visited the Cobbs Hill Reservoir until September 7, 2019. It was a wonderful experience for me just walking around the water and taking pictures on a beautiful late summer afternoon. The reservoir offers up some spectacular views of downtown Rochester. I came back early the next morning to capture the sunrise on the city. That did not disappoint at all.
