Downright amazing. I have been vegetarian for 3 years and vegan for about one. I vividly remember what meat tastes like (of course I also remember the stomach issues I had from eating it lol). I don’t miss meat or crave it, but there are food styles I do miss, and a nice cold sandwich is one of them. This is exactly that. Love it

There is one thing I really, really did not like: there is a napkin dispenser with a sticker on it that reads “praise seitan” which is of course a play on words… For those of you who don’t know, seitan is a protein popular in vegan cooking. It sounds like satan.

Owners: you are super inclusive of everyone, from pride flags to extreme care about food allergies and preferences, it’s clear you care about people and want all to feel welcome. Please consider how they sticker is offensive to a lot of people. If you are looking for a healthier lunch option without sacrificing for flavor, Grass Fed is a deli that specializes in plant based and vegan options. I have tried the pastrami sandwich, the Reuben, and their house made pepperoni. All of the offerings are excellent, there are a few tables scattered around in a cute grab'n'go kind of way. We were served at the table after we ordered at the counter, the service was excellent with the knowledge of the shop, and the food delicious. I ended up preferring the Reuben sandwich over the pastrami. The guy behind the counter gave me a container of their pepperoni, to try at the pizza shop I work at. The vegan community in Rochester is incredibly lucky to have Grass Fed. Their sandwiches are amazing and never skimp on the fixings. Great prices for high quality ingredients and stacked sandwiches. Their breakfast sandwich is by far my favorite in the city. I haven't had a sandwich here that I didn’t love, but my top picks are the In Da Turkey Club, BLT-N-T, and Take on Salami. Make sure to grab one of their delicious house-made cookies, they’re mouthwatering and make any difficult day better. I love the decor and how clean & organized the space is.
