OMG!!! We visited on October 21. This was the best place to spend an hour soaking in the tub and walking around the grounds!!!!! We had just landed at Albany International Airport on a red-eye flight from SFO and was so grateful that I was able to make a reservation over the phone the day before! Everyone was so nice and accommodating!!! I’ve never done a mineral springs soak before and this was definitely worth the time and money to pamper myself after a long flight! It was my friend’s birthday and he really liked the robe that was provided. So I bought him one to take home. The lounge area you go into after getting changed into robe and slippers was very relaxing pre- and post- soak. You could easily just chill and hang out there for a couple of hours. Not sure why that previous person thought that changing room was too small? They have a bathroom, showers, lockers, sink, and stools to sit on. The experience is the tub, and lounge. I wasn’t there to hang out in a changing room. The soaking tubs are nice and deep. You can adjust temperature of water to how hot or cooler you want it. Everything was clearly explained prior to soaking. The water looks murky but do not be deterred! All water is refreshed and clean per person. I was even able to drain some of my water and refill it hotter than my initial soak. It is explained that the iron in the water oxidized and it stained the tub walls. There was nothing dirty about this place. The therapist who assisted us was so very kind, warm, friendly and professional - shout out to Colleen. We did not have any other services here. Only the mineral springs bathtub soak for 40 minutes. I can’t wait to go back!!!!!

Amazing experience - soaking in hot spring water for 45 minutes! Healing and relaxing in 90% pure spring water. 10% hot tap water is added to heat up the bath water to perfect 104ish degrees. The facilities are nice and clean. The tubs are the actual historic ones from the 30s which were restored and lined. Soaking in this water feels amazing and time flies - I could have easily doubled the time. There is a massage and other packages which I didn’t take advantage of this time. Interesting fact, while there are fresh springs and mineral water available for people to fill up our own containers, there doesn’t seem to be actual bottling plant. The water baring the Saratoga name is actually bottled in Main according to the bottle label - see the picture. Make sure to check out the restaurants suggested to me - pictures at the end of the post. Sweet Mimi’s apparently uses local ingredients including milk produced by local cows.

We go here every summer . Our annual Saratoga trip with the girls , this is such a treat for all of us . The mineral bath I highly recommend, it relaxes you so much and the bath is incredibly deep and just the right amount of heat . Then the wonderful massage , I had Carol this year and she was wonderful, and awesome masseuse. She was very good about making sure I was comfortable with the pressure , etc . The front desk people were not good this year at all and when we arrived they did not explain or ask us if we wanted aromatherapy oils at all . When we went into the locker room they were all out of robes and we had to get some from the men’s room . Nobody showed us the way like in the past . We did have a bath attendant bring us to the bath and talk about it etc , a nice warm towel gets delivered while your soaking for you to use and then you get the massage , it’s quite heavenly .

Want to feel like you just time traveled to the 1920’s and have a luxurious spa experience in a historic building? Well the Rosevelt Baths are for you! You are brought to your own room with a massage table and bath already filled after walking down a somewhat creepy but cool hallway. Your spa attendant will explain why the water looks the way it does and what your experience will entail before leaving you to enjoy it for whatever time you’ve selected. It is a little weird at first with the odd colored water, the slightly metallic smell and the bubbles that appear when you move, but they do a good job of explaining the science behind it to help put you to ease! Each room does have a small bathroom with a sink and toilet as well. Can’t wait to come back!

This was the best and most relaxing hour spent in complete quietness. I would highly recommend the mineral bath and the relaxation lounge. Everyone deserves me time ♥️
