Utica Skate Park — Attraction in City of Utica

Im happy that the skaters have gotten an upgraded space, but the rest of this park is really sad. This is the closet park to my niece's house, and the play equipment is falling apart. They had to take down all the shade trees a few years back, and no replacements are yet installed. There has been concrete added around the playground, and grading and new seed on the hill, but the one bench left (not anywhere near the play space) is completely rotten. Monkey bars were taken away last year due to cracking. At least we have swings this year, though like most parks in Utica they are set too high to be comfortable for kids. Cleanliness has been better taken care of than in recent years, but I would not currently recommend for...

Playground is a mess. Swings are missing. Kinda looks like it’s going to fall apart. Basketball hoops are in pieces with not net and backboards falling off. Garbage is loaded and over flowing with trash around. Skating area is in decent shape and is the best part of the park which makes sense. Everything else...
