Palermo Pizzeria — Restaurant in City of Utica

I'm VERY disappointed to be writing this review as I've been a long time customer and have spend $1000's of dollars with them over the years. Last night I placed an order for $101 worth of food for New Year's night. The order showed up and after tipping the delivery driver I went upstairs with my food only to discover they forgot the 40 wings I ordered. Usually not a big deal at all because if they forget something I'll call them back and they will head back right away.

Well last night I called back and the lady on the phone was extremely rude and gave the impression I was lying about the missing wings. Long story short I never received the 40 wings that was part of my $101 order. That will be the LAST time I ever order from them again and it's a shame because I enjoy their food. To anyone reading this PLEASE make sure you double check that ALL items are received before letting the delivery driver leave. And to the delivery driver... I hope you...

Ordered food from this place through Slyce. Would not recommend ordering this place for delivery because you will wait 2.5 hours for your food to be delivered, ice cold and sauces smashed in the brown paper bag, and the delivery guy doesn’t even put your food in a hot pizza bag and the passenger was smoking in the front seat of the van they showed up in. I handed them back my food and thankfully Slyce refunded me my money if full except I’m out $5 cash tip that I handed the driver before he gave me my food. I have no idea If the food from here is good or not as I didn’t even have a chance to try it but I can say with all the other pizza places nearby there’s better options and probably from a health standpoint your food will be delivered in the manner it’s supposed to be. I recommend trying Tony’s Of Yorkville or Tony’s Pizza in Utica. Never had an issue with those places and your food shows up...

My experience wasn't pleasant at all and I'm just a visitor from Queens NY, my friend and I of African decent walked into this establishment and wasn't greeted for one. When we firsted walked in we waited for service to which we didn't get and there an employee that was making a pie and noticed my friend and I and never stopped what he was doing for a paying customer. We then assumed that customers would have to use the machine to place an order that was on the side adjacent to the cash register.
