Looking for somewhere new to take the fam, without looking to break the bank? Are you a fan of Utica Club? Trains? Cameras? Shoes? There is SO much to learn about at the Oneida County Historical Center!!! The staff are always so helpful and friendly. They are proud to showcase lots of information about local history- such as Women’s Rights and Suffrage, The Underground Railroad and Abolotionism, Native American and Indigenous Rights and SO MUCH MORE! Check out the exhibits, antiques and artifacts, and the incredible bookstore. There is so much local artwork and writing! It's fun for all ages, they even have a children's section, and host mantis children's activies. As well as things such as local plays and events! The selfie scavenger hunt is always a must! Experience lovely views, while learning facts you may have never heard before. Are you a lover of old books? Antiques? Glassware and glass bottles? So much to discover here! There is also a large section of haunted history books and information, for the lovers of all things that go bump in the night, or true crime featuring local stories and history. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? Check out this underrated and little known gem, right near the heart of downtown. Looking for something? The research library is always happy to help!

I listened to Native American stories that were all profound and then we all made corn husk dolls. Beautiful building.

Not particularly helpful. Somewhat stuck in the past. Not open to other than the history they want to present. Even with proof and documentation...
