Bodega Pierce Winery & Tasting Room — Attraction in Clarkdale

After visiting Jerome, we were on our way to old town Cottonwood for wine tasting. Then my wife looked out the window and said, "Oh, oh, oh, let's go there!" So we did and we're glad we did.

The place was cool, clean, and inviting, and our host, Suzanne, was terrific. She gave us the rundown on the wines and the winemakers. For Arizona wines, which are usually too dry and minerally for me, the reds were pretty good.

We came up to Cottonwood for our annual wine tasting trip. Ten years in we found that Bodega Pierce Winery now has a tasting room in Cottonwood! We had tasted their wine in Wilcox and loved it. Our first visit and we enjoyed our stop. It's small and was crowded when we were there. The noise level was tough to handle at first, but eventually the loud family gathering broke up and left.
