I attended a showing of Kinky Boots (off Broadway) at the Bologna Performing Arts Center. I lucked up on terrace seating ($60 a ticket) a week prior to the show. These events typically sell out (or close to sell out), so buy tickets early. Parking was undesirable. There is plenty and it’s free. However, attendants were directing cars and it was a mess. I’ve attended other shows and was able to park perfectly fine by myself. Inside, I had no problem finding my seat. BUT terrace seats were directed up some stairs...only to get inside and walk back down some stairs. It was frustrating and we could have easily gone in the orchestra entrance and been much, much closer to our seats. I really appreciated the fact that people were not allowed to enter/be seated after the show had started. During the first half, the audio was bad. We could barely understand what was being said at times. Thankfully it was fixed after the intermission. As far as concessions, they only sold water, candy and limited...
