Lenny’s Grill & Subs of Cleveland, MS re-opened today and I had the privilege of being the first customer through the door. I anticipated there might be somewhat of a rush today and so I arrived about a half hour before opening and I was not the only one anticipating the re-opening. I could see the staff inside busily making preparations to make sure the new first impression of the sub shop was going to be a good one. Then, moments before the doors were to open, the staff assembled in the front to hear some remarks by the man captaining this ship clad of deli delights. I couldn’t hear what was said, but the enthusiasm and energy of those who could was visible! As soon as the neon sign cam on, I was the first one through the door. I ordered the American club with all the Deli Favorites, spicy brown mustard, mayo, and of course, Lenny’s signature Hot Pepper Relish! The staff was courteous and efficient without making me feel rushed. In smooth fluid motion, my order was taken, my sandwiches prepared, and I was on my way in a flash!

I was paying for my food in the drive through with my debit card and they told me that my card wasn't going through. I decided to pull to the front to go in the inside to see why. The cashier name Peaches told me that she didn't know why so I tried my card again in the inside then magically it went through. When I got home I saw a fraud alert on my phone from the card I was using and it said that lennys was trying to charge my card for $200. It didn't go through because it had a limit. I called to Lenny's to bring it to their attention. I called 3 times from my number they wouldn't answer the same number I used to place my order. I then used another number to call so they picked up from the number they didn't recognize. I asked to speak to the manager about the situation and she decided to get smart so I did curse her out. Yestetday(12-17-22)I ask for an Italian large sub on white, the manager asked what type of bread and I said white again,she told me 17.00 and I said the large has gone up? She said you said you wanted a 15 and I know I didn't but she dint ask me how did I want it fixed or not, but while fixing it I thought we'll they must be going to fix it the Lenny's way,When I got home I had nothing but a dry sandwich. I called her back and told her and she told me I was suppose to tell her what I wanted on the sandwich and I said,"You didn't ask me." I wonder why they put cheese on it then, I didn't ask for cheese either!
