The Aviator Cleveland — Attraction in Cleveland

On August 12, 2023, I threw my parents a 50th Wedding Anniversary surprise party at The Aviator. I rented out the Sophia Room which hosted 26 of our guests. I spent several months working with Jen Seidel, Operations Manager. She was tremendous! Every step of the way she was knowledgeable, communicative, responsive, accommodating, and helped guide decisions including linen colors, appetizers, entrees, centerpieces, etc. There were a couple of last-minute changes including some guests who couldn’t make it as well as the decision to have assigned seating. She handled it all with ease and grace. The balance of professional guidance and the freedom to allow me to customize the event was perfect. While we had lantern/votive candle centerpieces selected, a wedding from the evening prior told We chose to have our own playlist of music throughout the Sophia Room which was no issue. We created a slideshow on a USB drive which plugged into the room’s large screen T.V. Again, not a problem whatsoever. We brought in a cake from an outside vendor which the Event Staff kindly portioned and served to the guests. The food was good, the service was great, and the Event Staff is top notch. Roula, our Event Manager was extremely engaged, present, professional, pleasant, and an absolute sweetheart. She made everyone feel at home and served as my right-hand woman the entire evening anticipating every need effortlessly. Sierra was our Event Server and wore a smile the entire evening, engaging with all of our guests and tending to everyone’s needs, making them feel right at home. Michelle was our bartender and interacted perfectly with everyone while remaining professional. I had high expectations for this milestone anniversary celebration and The Aviator met, if not exceeded them. I highly recommend hosting an event here. They have one of the best smash burgers in town, by the way, so dining, especially in the summer on the patio and enjoying live music from the rooftop patio is a must! Prior to booking we were looking for a one stop shop. I wanted everything made easy with the wedding and reception all in one place. We found The Aviator after an exhausting time looking at the ridiculous prices of wedding venues all over Cleveland. What a cool spot! And their outdoor space for the wedding was beautiful. We inquired and soon after met and booked with Jen. The venue price was extremely affordable, and you get her help as your wedding planner/coordinator. How fabulous it was to have her to help with the planning, from the invitation help to the food and tablescapes ...she does it all. They have quite an extensive catering menu...and dessert options. We met with Jen and the chef for the tastings. She was a great source as well. Anyway, just want to let you know how fabulous the food was!! Our families were thrilled! So many people were saying how it was some of the best wedding food they've ever had! We opted for the short ribs and chicken. They do dual entrees, so your guests will not leave hungry. The short ribs were excellent!!! I mean melt in your mouth. We can't say enough! Our thanks to the chef because that was one of the things we wanted most. really good food ...and she executed that perfectly! Friends and family have spoken very highly after the wedding of The Aviator and what a cool space it is! I can't tell you how many people have said how awesome it was that you could get married and go right into the reception. Not only was it important to us when looking for a venue, but to know that the guests were also so happy they didn't need to wait hours in between wedding and reception like so many others is really wonderful. We also had the option to reserve the rooftop bar after 10pm to continue the celebration, which we did. For external hires we did an Officiant, a Dj and a Photographer. We had an absolute fantastic time. All in all, it was a beautiful day, and fabulous time. Jen and her team made it wonderful. We had a blast!! ...

The Aviator IS AMAZING. The BEST place to have a special party/event/wedding! I couldn't wait to write this review because I have been raving non stop about how wonderful our party was and it was all thanks to The Aviator and their amazing staff.

1st, the event coordinator assigned to our party was Tyler, and I am so thankful he was the one helping us! I know their whole team is incredible, but Tyler was just so easy to plan with and made us feel so special and truly took care of everything. We planned our 40th birthday party with him and he took care of everything for us. The space looked so beautiful and all our guests had an incredible time. And the food was amazing!!

It was so nice having the Gabriella Room because we had the attached patio too and it was perfect weather! Everyone enjoyed being inside in the AC and also outside enjoying the fresh air. It was perfect! We had plenty of space for 60 guests + our awesome dueling piano band that came!

Ashley the bartender was incredible, so sweet and friendly and made amazing drinks! The other members of their team were just on top of everything, we were so impressed. Between the food, bringing out the cake and cutting the cake, and everything in between we had to do 0 and they took care of it all. We appreciated that SO MUCH!

The Aviator is extremely special to us. We had our very first date there 15+ years ago (back when it was the 100th Bomb group) and I also had my bridal shower there. We come every year for Breakfast with Santa too! We just love it there so much. I couldn't think of a better place for my husband and I to share our 40th birthday celebration, everything was perfect.
