absolutely mortifying experience. the two men at the door we incredibly disrespectful to my family who was already emotional over my brother leaving. they then were offended we didn’t know they were ex-military (as if we’re supposed to be mind readers) and went to the head leutinent of the facility & LIED saying my brother was disrespecting them. my brother is non confrontational & never said anything remotely disrespectful. this lead my brother to be reprimanded AGAIN for no reason in front of the whole facility and my family. also i was treated like trash & a bother to everyone because i was understandably extremely emotion OVER MY LITTLE BROTHER LEAVING. a traumatic experience to say the least that could’ve been prevented by the staff acting like good people instead of like us civilians were in...

Overall, I found the staff racist, dismissive, conflict inducing and full of Karens. A lot of people at this MEPS act as gatekeepers and yes that means they don't want those who are not part of their circle to join the US Military. There are many people at the Cleveland MEPS who are racists and sexist and no matter what your score or if you pass your entrance exam they will make problems for you because they don't want to see people of color in leadership roles, especially females of colors. It threatens their need for white male hierarchy followed by white female.
